Solid, you represent the types who drive moderate people away from supporting particular issues. I am pretty pragmatic and middle of the road. However, I am not keen on siding with the people who make wild presumptions about someone because they don't entirely fall directly into their camp.


Insulting people while knowing exactly jacksquat about them is a surefire way to make them want to disagree with your cause for spite alone. Beginning to understand pretty firmly why Trump won.

I definitely would not tell my wife I was on a message board defending a female board member who was defending Donham's actions...

Already had the conversation when the story broke. My wife is pretty level headed and came to the same conclusions. Ugly time in history, martyrdom is not for everyone. I guess this is when one of you totally not racist gents implies that she is an Uncle Tom for not being part of the hive mind?

FWIW, I seriously would not tell my wife I had been defending a mother who was defending Donham. Especially for the reasons that were laid out. Her first question is going to be if she was in fear of her life why did she lie again in 2004?
