As someone who is originally from Europe, who has family there and who somewhat frequently travels there, I can only say that this is a good thing for us, here in America.

I do not believe that these are all bad people however just look at what is occurring in Europe. About a year ago I was in London, England, Oslo, Norway and Helsinki, Finland. Perhaps they stand out amongst the very homogenous, indigenous people but goodness, there are Muslims everywhere. To make matters worse they are almost always the beggars, the people trying to sell you something, they only take away from the otherwise nice vibe to the cities that they are in, sorry. It's almost equivalent to a section 8 family moving in next door, they bring down the value of everything nearby.

There are parts of Sweden where you as a native Swede cannot even walk down the streets for fear of being mugged, raped or killed. I am all for helping those who are truly in need however the other issue is that roughly half of these "refugees" are grown [BLEEP] men! Figure it out! As real men do on a daily basis. Incidences of rape in Sweden have increased significantly since letting in these refugees. Coincidence?

People from these countries cannot get their [BLEEP] together. Do not make it our problem. Place the needs of your own people ahead of those of other countries. We are $20 trillion in debt, the economy is bad and there is already a lack of jobs. How is bringing more people into this country going to help us? Eventually we as a nation will collapse, all we can do is delay the inevitable, bringing more people into the country just makes us more susceptible.

Ultimately the way that this type of situation should be viewed is does it help us? The United State of America. Sure there are many people who are trying to escape oppression, persecution and who want to come here for a better life but if this does not improve our country in the long run then you do not let these people in.

As "Samjag904" mentioned in another thread, bringing a large influx of anyone to this country only creates problems. Generally speaking, they do not assimilate.

No he hasn't. Most Muslims can Still enter the US.
That "All Lives Matter" crowd must be on vacation.

Quote:I think that there is nothing wrong with restricting immigration and strengthening borders.

However, our refugee vetting process is already extremely extensive, and we have no history of people with refugee status causing any issues. I think we should be harboring Syrian refugees still. Those people are facing a Holocaust level event and they have literally nowhere to go.

That 5 year old kid who had to spend hours detained while his mother waited anxiously for him to be released to her is the real threat.

This is easily the most prejudice thing I have read on here.

Muslims bring down a community be being beggars and trying to sell you something?

Wow...
Quote:That "All Lives Matter" crowd must be on vacation.

Conservatives: “We hate blacks, Muslims, women, the poor, unions, GLBT, and basically anyone who doesn’t fit into into our vision of what America should be.

Liberals: “Those are horrible beliefs and you’re terrible people for having them.”

Conservatives: “Typical lib hypocrisy. Always talking about acceptance of others yet not accepting our sick and twisted views of society.”

He has only been in office a week. He banned the Muslims subject to existing law. To ban Muslims from other countries not on the list he'll have to get a bill through congress*. That takes time, and right now he's going after the low-lying fruit because that gives the quickest impact.

* and congress almost certainly wouldn't approve such a law

Said no conservative.  Simply more liberal lies.  You guys are worse than Trump about his crowd size.

Suppose I could not expect anything less but you choose to ignore everything else I said and focus on one thing. The reality is, sometimes the truth hurts.

My friend, the only thing that you can do is visit these countries and see it for yourself, or perhaps some vicarious Google searching.

Why won't conservatives come out and condemn Trump for violating the Immigration Act of 1972?

Actually its not possible to ban Muslims as there is no track of who's a Muslim or not on passports. It was either a lie or huge ignorance.

The only thing I can say about this and your initial post is that Coded covert racism has officially switched to overt prideful racism, even if you deem it the "truth".

I'm just proud you was able to admit it, unlike some on here who like to play the typical keyboard games.

Thanks for the hat tip! I was wondering if we had any friends from the other side of the pond that would tell us what the heck is going on over there.

As for the beggars and vagrants--it is a serious public safety problem whenever you get that cropping up. Desperate people do desperate things. I myself have been mugged at knifepoint by someone who asked me for money first. I know it's a really cute and popular ideal to just see this as less fortunate people that need help, but they are a menace to other people. To this day, I am nervous when leaving a shop and someone begs me for money.

Japan has very tight rules on citizenship and migration. They take a lot of pride in their traditions and way of life so they protect it. When you have a low birth rate, you must protect your culture or you get replaced. If you slowly took everyone out of Japan and replaced them with migrants from Syria, would it still be Japan? I'd say no, it wouldn't be Japan at all! I know how unpopular it is to love American traditions and customs, but I DO. I don't wish to see it washed off the face of the earth in the next 50 years because we did not protect it. I don't hate anybody, and I actually really like a lot of other cultures, but I wouldn't invite them into my home to live, I wouldn't erase everything my country is either. In 100 years Japan will still be Japan. In 50 years Germany will not---that is a tragedy to me.

Because there is no such thing. Why won't liberals stop acting like all this is new and consider H.R. 158 and others?

utter nonsense the USA is far more dangerous than European countries. Stockholm is a walk in the park compared to inner US cities. People in the US also feel the need to carry guns to protect themselves they are so fearful.

Just because you didn't understand what he said doesn't mean he's not doing it now.

Stockholm has changed my friend. It is now the rape capital of Europe.
Fatal shooting in Quebec mosque. What a shame.

Islamic State finds success infiltrating its terrorists into refugee flows to West
Looks like Trump was ahead of the curve eh? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017...s-into-re/

I was there a couple of years ago. As a man I'd rather walk around Stockholm than any US city at night. Felt less dodgy than around the landing in Jacksonville
