Quote:I don't know. I'm not the one claiming it is the #1 college job in America. I personally don't think it is.
It's not UF Fans either. I posted 4-5 different websites who ranked the jobs. UF was no worse then 3, and I think it was two that had them at #1. Why are you so stuck on this? it's in about every other one of your posts.

those all must be articles posted by us fans here on the jags message board or complete fabrications.
It would be a great hire for Florida and one that could get them back to the level fans are used to seeing prior to the Muschamp years. The guy knows what he's doing on offense and he has several recent years of SEC experience at Bama.

Did I claim it was #1? Can you provide that link?

Because maybe the uf job is not regarded as highly as people think.

Well I did say maybe.
GatorZone Football on Twitter: "We've had very productive conversations with Coach McElwain and his wife Karen and those continue"
Jags' beat writer: "reading between lines of UF statement, "Jim, buddy, say yes by 5 p.m. or we're moving on
UF has a flight plan filed leaving there around 4 eastern and arriving back in gville around 7
might be a negotiating ploy.
Mark Long of the AP tweeted, "it would also make sense that Gators are giving [him] a chance to tell his team"
The more I read into what he's done the more and more I think its a good hire if it happens.

Of course the UF job is regarded highly, is this even a question?

It has been touted on this board several times that it is the #1 job, which is fine since a reasonable argument can be made, but simply saying it may not be.

im pretty sure the general consensus on the board is that its a sure fire top 5, possible #1.

it's obviously the best one available right now.
1. UF
2. Michigan
3. Nebraska
4. CSU

Very very few have said its the number one job in the country. I believe most phrase it as one of the number one jobs in the country. Don't let that stop you from promoting drama.

I'm guessing 4.5
Probably a decent hire. Though on another note McElwain looks like a beaver in every sense of the word.
rumor is that Uf will agree to play CSU in Dallas in the future
The Gator plane is leaving Colorado without Mcelwain on it.
I also read that there was another flight leaving there at 3:10 and heading towards Birmingham. His kids go to Birmingham. Can we all guess where this is headed after?
