But Joeckel is a big question mark and the arrow for Cyp and Gratz is very clearly pointing down.

I'm glad to see people are drunk on the Teal Kool Aid here.

If you don't want to drink it please please please o jump on the patriots bandwagon

Wilfork said this morning he's got plenty of room for youSmile

Many of you clearly don't have a clue how life works. How building something from the ground up works... Some franchies are blessed and we haven't been... Everything is changing

I believe in khan

I have a hard time judging Caldwell.

I'm not saying he isn't a problem but the coaching here has been so bad it's hard to tell how good the players are. I'm not convinced they're being developed properly, or at all, with the current staff. This staff is borderline historically inept.
Quote:Just stop, please. Gus is NOT doing a great job. I don't care about the players spirits. They should be focused on winning games and executing plays. Only 1 team gets a trophy in this league. Gus can take his cheerleading else where and let the men coach an NFL team.

Dude shut the hell up... How do you win games with NO PLAYERS
Quote:We had Daryl Smith, Eugene Monroe, Pot Roast... those three guys would be team captains on this team.

Let's not pretend that this team had absolutely 0 talent.  Those 3 guys would be among the better players on this team.

Also, we seriously missed on Brandon Marshall.
Cue the "those guys didn't want to play here."
I was fooled at first, this is a SARCASTIC threat, you guys got me good lol

We have about as much talent now on this team as we did in 2012.

We're younger, yes - but that doesn't guarantee those young guys will develop into anything.

Here's hoping at least some of them do.

I don't love Bradley or Caldwell, for the record. I'm concerned about Bradley's halftime adjustments, but that doesn't mean I want him fired.

Like they said. This is a race to maturity.

They sure aren't developing under the current coaching staff.

lol
And spare us.  We all know Gene Smith sucked.

We told yall that for 4 yrs too and look where it got us.

Pinch me if I'm dreaming, but I could have swore some players take more than a year and a half to develop.

That is an article that was wrote in 2012. It is now 2014. After 2 drafts by GM Dave Caldwell, the Jaguars have gone 4-12, and are now 1-10 and are in real contention for the #1 pick in the draft. This franchise is building from the ground, literally, the ground, up.

If you'd kindly take a look at the link I provided, you can see Gene Smith had a .153 batting average. Gene Smith was so bad at drafting players, he hit on 4/26 players in his time as General Manager. No game changers. He was no better in Free Agency, either.

F/A Signings:

2009 - Holt, Tra, Thomas, Considine.

2010 - Kampman, Osgood, Keiaho.

2011 - Poz, Roth, Landre, Session, Coleman, Turk.

2012 - Robinson, Ross.

I don't know about you, but that makes me puke. This is going to take time, and this is the reason. I don't know if Bradley is the guy or not. None of us do. But nobody can be the guy until David Caldwell starts funneling the talent into the roster. Nobody would win with this roster.

We have yet to draft a player that's been a bigger impact then Terrence Knighton (who this regime let walk) We have yet to sign a free agent with a bigger impact then Poz. Just a little perspective, yes Gene busted big time, but even him busting found some guys that where really good for a while.

No argument? It's ok.

How many players have shown progress under Bradley? How many young players have shown improvement?

It doesn't take 3 years for a player to show signs of improvement.

Guys have gotten worse! Open your eyes.

That's a problem. A deadly problem in terms of success of this franchise. It would take a damn miracle for Bradley to turn this around. Even then I'm not sure he can do it.
