Quote:Sorry you can't afford season tickets.... Shame your missing out on something great.

Enjoy rooting for the pats

Quote:Started from the bottom now were here

Oh wait were still at the bottom bc he's 2 drafts in which means 14 players to rebuild 53

OMGOMGOMG

WHAT WILL WE DO

So by your math... 53 players divided by 7 players/draft we need 8 drafts to rebuild the team.

I can't wait for 2020..oh wait, most of our draft picks will be out of the NFL by then.  Aint that a B?
Quote:LOL ok.

Because they can totally turn this season around with only 5 games left.

Because that totally didn't happen last year now did it?

And we have started 1-10 after last year...

I can't wait to start 1-10 next year! woo hoo!

I'm pretty sure you'll be on the Packers bandwagon long before then.

Yay we fought our way back from being the first pick in the draft to having the third pick in the draft.

Total turn around right there now isn't it?

So which one is it? Do you want us to stay in first place of the draft or win games?
I had no illusion about our having a winning season this year, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect us to at least play up to our record last season. This season, and the play from this last game against the colts in particular, has been discouraging for me as a fan. I've been coming on here saying we need to be patient and give Dave and Gus at least three seasons; at this point however, it appears that Blake is playing worse football now than he was when he started. It appears that we're not going down field nearly as much (perhaps to limit the interceptions...) but the effect of that is that we now have no running game. In other words, we are doing approximately what we would be doing with Chad Henne under center; now that's discouraging!

I'll stick to my guns and still say that we need to cool our collective jets and see what we've got at the end of next season. I'm not a fan of judging a team by any statistic except the win/loss ratio for that season. I've suggested reaching 8-8 would be the mark to get to. At this time though, my confidence level in the team (with it's present roster) to reach that goal next season after sucking so bad this season isn't too good. This team needs something almost miraculous to pull it together..

Too many people on crack pipes in here today wow

I don't want the 1st pick of the draft or the 3rd pick of the draft.  I want a playoff birth.  I want to be picking in the mid 20s.

Don't try to put words in my mouth.

That was impossible last year, and it is impossible this year.

That = season not turned around

Quote:Apparently Alualu is playing the best football of his life.

What a damn joke.

Lol. What a moron. Alu sucks, and he's the worst draft pick besides Goobert.
Quote:I'd argue if we hadn't blown this mess up when David was hired we'd be better off. Instead of releasing the ENTIRE secondary we could've upgraded positions when given the chance. Same goes for just about every position, this is the problem with blowing up a roster to rebuild it and why it rarely works. Make one mistake and your behind another 2-3 years, no one gets 5 years to rebuild a roster anymore.

I agree this team wouldn't be at 5-22 if they kept what they had and upgraded through draft and FA. It's crazy, 3 people they released are starters on good teams. That's just dumb.
Quote:Said by no one.

I think 99% of the posters on here realize that 2015 is the year that counts. Caldwell and Khan have pretty much confirmed that. I see you represent the 1% of the posters who have no clue by your demands of immediate results or bust.

Us logical people didn't expect immediate results, but they are WORSE than last year. How do you explain this madness?

Man I hear you. When I watch NFL Redzone it constantly is bringing up Ex Jag players. There are way more than 3. Remember Couglin when he released a player you never heard of him again.

This current group gave up on to many players.
Lol I always love when people bring up the Madden thing.

I think there is talent on this team and I think they are playing below their talent level because our coach doesn't teach. If you honestly think 1-10 is the BEST we can do you, you'rr mistaken. Would a better coach have us in the playoffs? Most likely no. But to a 4-7 record? Possibly.

I mean look at what happened when we came off the Bye.... WE SCORED 3 POINTS WHEN THE COACHES HAD 2 WEEKS TO PREPARE! And Blake played worse than he did the last time he played the Colts with no game plan help.

I think the biggest issue is that there is no progress being shown.  I don't think anyone expected playoffs but 1-10 while being blown out is horrendous.  If this plan was working there would be progress showing.

Makes you wonder what their plan was when they took over, and what they thought getting rid of good players for inexperienced rookies would produce.

This assessment shows me it's the coaching. No other way to spell this out. I don't blame the players for yesterday. They need to do their damn job instead of cheerleading and "keeping the spirits high" as one moron posted.

To a team that allowed 51 last week.

Plan??? There is no stinking plan Wallbash
Quote:Yep, they need fans who will not complain when they are the laughingstock of the league.
Exactly.  Here is what I don't understand.

The apologist cry about the complainers and have the audacity to insinuate they are wrong.  The key area here is progress. Since the 2012 roster there has not been much of it.  Across the board

QB: Wash.  Both stink so it's the tale of what turd stinks less

RB: Worse.  D Rob has put together a couple of nice games but everyone stinks

OL: Worse  Can't protect their QB

TE: Wash: Stinks as bad ever

WR:Wash: Stinks

DL: Better: the one

Secondary: Worse.  Cyprien and gratz have both really struggled.

Special Teams: Worse.  Blocked punts and 0 punt return coverage

Where is the progress?  The one thing the apologist bank on is youth but they have to prove to be good players.  0 impact players on this team
