Quote:Ha! That was one of the sections I left. I can't tell you how many times I was told to sit down on big 3rd down plays.
Ahh...the people that don't want ANY standing at all. They are as bad as the always standing ones. Lol bet they also told you that you were being to loud!

I would turn around and these people looked like they were at a funeral. Miserable group. But instead of complaining and arguing with them which I realized wasn't getting me anywhere I just moved. I've now moved in a section where I thought I would never be and new in doing so my get up on 3rd down arm waving was retired.
I just stand at the beer cart (first in line, while continuing to order more) next to the concessions and watch on the little tv.
No one says anything to me

Agreed, they are just as bad. Why can't they just learn how to be regular fans!

There is a happy medium between the Standers and the Sitters that the rest of us seem to enjoy!!

Sometimes standers and sometimes sitters need to have a peaceful rally in front of the bank. Maybe Jaguars could shoot a video that plays in the bank showing fans how to sometimes stand and sometimes sit. It would be like the flight attendant videos right before you take off on a plane.
5 pages to discuss when to sit down at a football game and when not to.
I will say though, and maybe its because I'm getting older, but if a guy was standing in front of me the whole game and I asked him nicely to sit down...if he was rude to me in any way, there's a good chance something bad could happen. I really do think its a real concern the Jags should worry about.

Throw alcohol in the mix and something bad could happen more often then not.

Exactly. It just adds fuel to the fire.

We can go on for 5 pages on just about any topic.

Which is why I find it ironic that a beer company can complain about the domestic violence issues in the league...
It really shouldn't be an issue. Common courtesy says you don't go to the bathroom, or concessions, until there is a break in the action on the field so you don't block others from seeing the play. It's the same annoyance as the person standing in front of you preventing you from seeing the field during a play. Stand and cheer as loud as you want but when the ball is about to be snapped sit down. Would the people who stand the whole game be annoyed if the person in front of them were holding a sign which prevented them from seeing the action? I think so.

You would hate many NFL stadiums. And don't go to a college football stadium.

If someone did that to me the whole game, I would just rip it in half. lol

Inconsiderate fans are found in any sports venue. That doesn't make it any more acceptable.

It's only bad in the student sections. I go to college games all the time and I never have a problem.

I'm talking about standing up.

I guess it depends on how the fans are and where you are. I've been to many FSU/gator games in gville and if I sat down I wouldn't see the game. On the other hand, I've been to a few bucs games and no one stands up (they have a no standing policy).
