Good grief. That's just ridiculous. They would rather him start over bb bc he has experience losing?? Does Gabbert have a better record?

Quote:Good question. Some one will have to help me on this one. For some reason when I google Blaine Gabbert career wins, I get nothing. Google laughed at me.
Quote:If you want to see Henne's mind explode, ask him to find his third read.
Quote:LOL. I think we are all ready for some BB5!
Quote:right? I'm getting anxious myself, and I'm on the wait to start BB5 bandwagon...
I'm hoping Henne plays well. But, as we all know, it's hard for him to put together a full game. I think when he tries to hard to not make mistakes he gets in his own way. In the first half it seemed like he was feeling no pressure and he just threw the ball on instinct. In the 2nd half, I think he started thinking too much and got tight and eventually just started choking a bit.
Quote: We are long over due for great QB play.Great? I'd be happy with just consistently good QB play.
Quote:Explosive? As in spontaneous human combustion or maybe they mean Jihad? That's the only way I can see Henne become explosive and the rightful heir handed the throne he deserves to reign. They said that in an ideal world they'll like to have henne play well and not have the rookie start. Obviously that won't be the case. Also, no smart coach is going to say that a player is going to start at sometime in the season, even if it's understood. So it's just a matter of Henne playing himself out of the job
Obviously they put their foot in their mouth by stating that Bortles will red shirt this season, we'll see how long they plan on juggling those chainsaws.

Quote:I think Gabba Gabba's career record with the Jags is 5-19 or something really close to that.5-22.
Quote:They want him to be Bortles? There's a simple solution here.

Quote:5-22.
Chad Henne is 5-15. Meaning he needs just one win in the next 7 games to win more than Gabbert and keep his place as the 4th winningest QB in Jags History.
Leftwich is sitting firmly in 3rd place with 24 wins. Meaning Bortles could win 10 games a season for 3 seasons, and become #3. (He'd need only 9 more after that to tie Garrard)
12 QB's have recorded a win for the Jaguars. Steve Matthews, Rob Johnson, and Jay FIedler are undefeated. Trent Edwards, Todd Boumoan, and Jamie Martin are winless.
