Quote:Well did 98+ whatever percent of black people also vote for Clinton, then?....

Well, he was the first black President...
Bin Laden is still alive?!

I'm getting off this chuckle bus....

I'll come back in a year or so and take bets that Cruz the Canadian and Take a Stand Rand will not get the nomination.

I already hear the rhetoric coming outta the camp of Clintontopia.

The reading of a Dr Suess book should rekindle some interest in the tv ads.
Quote:maybe so...but probably foolish too, because I doubt the president would do the same for him. (not condoning ANY violence btw) just making a point. Obama is a narcissist and cares about himself and thats it. He wouldn't sustain a paper cut, to protect the average American.
He's no different from most politicians who get to that level.
Quote:He's no different from most politicians who get to that level.
Indeed he's not.

He was just better at hiding it then most. Need some new blood in the arena.
Quote:I hear this from you establishment Neo-Cons all day.

Bush SR (Moderate) - lost to Clinton

Dole (Moderate) - lost to Clinton

Bush JR (Moderate) - wins two elections but practically destroys the economy and put republicans at a disadvantage for nearly a decade after

McCain (Moderate) - Lost to Obama

Romney (Moderate) - Lost to Obama

So your whole let's be Moderates won 2 out of 6 elections, that's a winning strategy bubba, keep on swinging!

Nobody was beating Clinton or Obama, so that argument is moot.
Quote:Nobody was beating Clinton or Obama, so that argument is moot.

No it's not moot, nobody was beating Clinton or Obama because the GOP ran no one. Bob Dole really? John McCain? and they wonder why they're seen as the party for old white guys?

While they were terrible candidates, I don't think anybody is beating Clinton either term and with the political landscape post Bush, I doubt any Rep. was going to win.

I'm not convince Republicans would beat Obama if he could run for a third term, and he has historically low approval ratings. Problem is the GOP offers no contrast to Obama and the Democrats, it's either hyperbole or watered down versions of the same thing Democrats are doing.

I love it when some Tea Party nut claims they have a chance to get into the White House. Even the GOP is sick of those idiots, never mind winning a presidential election.

Sadly the Tea Party started off strong and then fell into the abyss of politics. Now they spend more time trying to swim upstream than figure out how to fix this mess. I'm still a member of our local Tea Party, but plenty of times they spend the entire time figuring out how to repeal Obamacare, like we can do that at the county level?

As for "tea party" candidates getting the nomination or making it to the white house I think Ted Cruz or Rand Paul hold a heck of a better chance than Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, Rick Scott or Marco Rubio.

The real issue is that the Rs refuse to run a candidate who the base will support. The Obama elections have both been about base turnout, nothing more complicated than that. The Ds are very good at getting their base out (block canvasing, buses, absentee ballots, etc.), but the Rs can't figure out how to run the guy that the base wants, so the base sits home.
No idea how Obama is doing for you guys..But most people in the rest of the world are pretty happy to have an Obama over the recent Republican candidates who seem to be totally out of touch with Europe. I mean Mitt Romney... Really??

Well, I would say this to someone that doesn't know how 0bama is doing for this country.  He has managed to drag us down, as far down as possible.  The country is divided worse than almost any time in our short history.  He has in no way been a LEADER, rather he has been a RULER.

The USA is NOT equal to Europe or anywhere else in the world, and we never should be.  The USA has always been a LEADER for the rest of the world.

Fantasy ontop of fantasy.

Always been a leader for the rest of the world? What history have you been taught?

I mean the USA has never even won a war without Britian's help have you?

Sorry should add France to that

So are you saying that the USA won the Revolutionary War with Britain's help?

Just how effective were the British during the Normandy invasion in WWII?

I'm sure it was the British that effectively ended the Japanese involvement in WWII.

I wonder why the world currency is traded in US dollars?

No offense but what's good for Europe isn't always good for America. Many of the smaller European nations can handle a socialist state because they have very limited populations am strict immigration. With a border the size of ours and the population as diverse the European style isn't feasible here.

As for the rest of the world appreciating Obama I'm calling baloney. The Middle East is a mess with regime changes in Iraq Egypt Libya and civil war in Syria. Ukraine and Russia are in a soft war that's become not so soft. Germany is ticked we've been caught spying on them. Obamas administration has targeted 30 something embassy's for spying. So who the hell is happy with Obama outside socialist in Europe that think he's got some magical powers to socialize the American economy?

Now the American military is over rated? I'd agree it's over used but it's still bigger than the next 5 military's combined.

You think the middle east would have been better off with a nutty mormon in charge?. America is seen as a bit backwards and behind the times in europe with the death penalty and its very reigious nature. We have moved on from that and are waiting for you guys to catch up, Obama is seen as a better chance for that than the Bush/Romney types.

Noticed the dig at socialism, but the UK probably has the best healthcare in the world so we are quite happy with the socialist model in that regards thanks...

The Spanish-American war ring a bell?

Mexican-American War?

Operation Urgent Fury?

I imagine Europe would now be called "Germany" if the U.S. didn't step into World War II.  In fact I'm positive of it.
