Stork would be a huge reach in round 2, but its the underdog mentality around here that trumps up (overrates) players like this. Remember Dysert last year?....same thing.

I've seen this a few times from you. What's you Dysert obsession? Is it some sort of dig on a particular poster?

Fales was ineffective vs the only really good defense he faced this year. Looks really average on the footage I've seen. Looks like NFL backup material, to me.

Remember Dysert last year?....same thing.not sure what you mean by "around here" but most draftniks didn't think he'd go late in the 7th round, Broncos also thought enough of him to carry him as the 3rd QB instead of trying to hide him on the PS

Third would be the earliest time i'd pick him if we havent chosen a QB yet.

If we get the 2nd pick and Bridgewater goes #1, I kind of like the idea of us trading back if we're able to get large ransom. Otherwise, I think I want Clowney.

Who is this Yankey guy?

David Yankey, Stanford's LG prospect.

Quote:Clowney/MackSo you are telling me if Ebron, Amaro, and ASJ all go in the 1st which is highly possible. We should draft C.J. Fiedorowicz in the 2nd? C.J. could very well end up the best TE in the draft but that is just bad drafting and bad value. You could get C.J. end of the 2nd or in the 3rd. You never go best available at a position just for the sake of it if the value isn't there. Bad draft strategy, Dave wouldn't never do that. Same with you LB and C/G. If the value is there go for it, if not then don't do it. Get VALUE out of your picks.

If we do not go QB in 1st I am hoping we draft 2 of these developmental QB's
Boyd - 3rd Round
Murray - 5th Round
or
Boyd - 3rd Round
Fales - 4th Round (We've got 3 4th rounders)

I'm a big supporter of Boyd. Both Boyd and Fales are better than any QB we currently have.
This draft has lots of options. It's going to be interesting to see who Caldwell likes.

Sure he isn't as accurate or technically gifted as Teddy, but he still is a great prospect. And you're right. Both of those QB's (and some others) in this draft class are better than what we have.

A 3rd and a 5th won't get you a 2nd round pick. Better throw in a 4th or a pick from next year.

Should have specified I think one of those will fall out. Very rare that more than 2 TEs go in the first round. The position isnt valued as much as others.
And to randomly throw out names for late round picks would be silly. No one knows who the 4th rounders are going to be at this point. Those are the positions I want addressed in that order.
