The Bengals have gotten to the playoffs 3yrs in a row despite Andy Dalton. Dalton is very, very good at times. But, for the most part he is average, and struggles big time in big games.

This. ^^^

pirkster is just being pirkster, again.
Quote:Every aspect of the Colts franchise since they came here from Baltimore has been built on a foundation of lies, fraud, and corruption- from Irsay Sr's lying about his military discharge to the Mayflower vans to hiring legendary college cheater Ron Meyer to Harbaugh's Christianizing on the radio and then drunkenly taking strippers home from Brad's Gold Club every weekend to Peyton running a string of waitresses that would make Tiger jealous while proclaiming himself the ultimate family man to Polian terrorizing former players and sportswriters to Dungy pimping himself as Father of The Century while ignoring his own child to the point of suicide to Irsay Jr's (allegedly lol) forging prescriptions and trying to cheat his siblings and late father's widow in business deals. And Luck being proclaimed "The Great One" regardless of his actual play is just another brick in that foundation. He received not one iota of criticism on the Colts Post Game show, in fact Barry Krauss said his performance was, I quote, "tremendously good".

I may be stuck here in Indy, but I'm thankful to be a fan of a franchise with integrity in its' DNA. Anybody who has any dealings with the Colts, and I have, unfortunately, knows what a cesspool the Colts' organization truly is.

And "great" quarterbacks don't throw seven picks in successive playoff games, sorry to say.

Wow..... I sure hope Indy doesn't have a Federal Building.   May want to beef up security around the Lucus Oil premises.
Quote:Well, to be fair, the Bengals are loaded with good, young talent all over the roster. Their defense was still very good, despite the loss of Geno Atkins and Leon Hall.

I'm a Bengals fan, and regularly attend their home games. The Bengals have gotten to the playoffs 3yrs in a row despite Andy Dalton. Dalton is very, very good at times. But, for the most part he is average, and struggles big time in big games.

As a Bengals fan, and like many other Bengals fans, I would absolutely love to have Andrew Luck in Cincinnati. With that roster plus Luck, the Bengals would be doing some serious damage.

Wow you could almost say Dalton and Luck have a lot in common then

I love message boards!

This could be a series. A reality show.

Libel and slander! Stuff pulled out of thin air!

I can't wait for another in depth report from IndyJagsFan - remember he's had dealings with them. (Does getting escorted out of a game for being drunk count as dealings?)

Anyway - can't wait for Part II.

Well, other than the Dungy part which was poor taste, do you know that any of his other accusations were false??

What's the big deal? What was posted sounds just like an ordinary day in the life of athletes and the people that own/manage them

Uh... How so?

Dalton hasn't won a playoff game yet in 3 years, Luck has won 1 in 2 years. Plus, you remember that big game vs Denver earlier in the year? You know the game where Peyton was going to back to Indy and make the Colts pay!!! Luck played tremendous that game, too. Oh, and won.

The bengals beat some good teams this year too and got knocked out against a team who convincingly beat the Colts.

If colts weren't playing the worst team in the playoffs (lost 5 of last 7) chances are luck would be winless.

Oh I seem to remember Dalton out playing the almighty luck in a game this season too. Took garbage time to make it even look competitive
I think I said this before but Jags fans are dumb. Give you a hundred bucks that if we had Andrew Luck we would have won the division this year.

The Bengals are a far better team then the Colts in almost every position accept one.
Any Jag fan would take Luck on this team in a heart beat. That is a fact, and they would be saying how great he is.

including Tommy Turbo.

Yeah, I agree, def possible. At the very least, 8 wins.
Quote:I'll stick with my average QB who has taken my team to the playoffs in his first 2 seasons, won a playoff game, and does this all with a weak running game, average offensive line, and a defense that can't stop a nose bleed.

Don't forget the weakest division, too.

Yup, everyone in our division sucks, what are you saying?

Colts clearly proved they belonged in the playoffs as a division champion. Yes, they lost to some bad teams, but we beat the best teams in the league. Heck, 3 of the 4 remaining teams have lost to the Colts!

Depends who the colts qb was? Not sure how you can bet on a hypothetical? Or are you simulating through some complex program?

That's not saying a lot. As we would take about 25 qbs ahead of henne
Andrew Luck impressed me against New england. I think he deserves the hype. He can make throws that only the elite qbs can make. Fortunately for the jaguars, the colts will struggle to surround him with talent as long as they are trading picks for disappointing players.

I honestly think we have better weapons. Our offensive lines are pretty even, the colts line might be even worse

I'm not impressed by the throws themselves. I'm impressed by the recognition, the athleticism, and the clutch factor he has. His throws, on the other hand, are only mediocre. If he didn't have the other things going for him his arm and accuracy would receive a lot of criticism. However, since he's so good at all the parts that are most important, his arm strength and accuracy are easily overlooked.
