Don't forget Rogers could have easily been an int.

Hope you enjoyed the game colts warriors. You are still clearly a mediocre side
Quote:Congrats.  Luck played really well in the second half!

Yes, he really did turn his play around.

Let's not let Reid off the hook for his best JDR second half performance, though.  LOL...
Quote:Rivers has had a nice year. Thats what some nice weapons will do for you. What did Rivers do last year? Give Luck Keenan Allen, Gates, that other rookie TE, Vincent Brown, woodhead, and some of their other contributors....Luck would outproduce him. He's already out winning him with a vastly inferior offensive personnel.

Are you saying good WRs make good QBs? Sounds like it
4 TDs, 3 INTs, still winning the game?

Looking very John Elway-ish. Take that how you want to.

Today's game was Peyton, Favre, Elway-esque. Well, he got the win.

Gotta respect the 450 yards.

If Andrew Luck plays well and win against a good team next week who don't suffer major injuries he will finally live up to the hype and be deserving of.

Kc have been terrible for weeks and Luck won't have ty running without a player near him all game
Just a crazy game. I don't even know what to say.

This team never quits. NEVER.

You should be proud.

Congrats. Best playoff game I've seen in recent memory.

That game reminded me (and you probably won't remember this) of the Chuck Fusina - led Philadelphia Stars crazy comeback win in the USFL playoffs in 1984 (I think it was) where they were down 38-17 in the 4th Q, and wound up winning the football game. That was one of the best comebacks I ever remember seeing until yesterday.

Quote:With the list you put Redsky, I'd put Luck at #6. I'd easily take Luck over Romo & Roethlisberger. JMO.

Quote:I'd put Luck ahead of Romo, easily, but not ahead of Ben yet. Soon....but not yet. 2 SB have to account for something. I'd also put Luck ahead of Rivers.

Luck is not better than Romo, not yet at least.  Ben stinks and has begun to show his lack of true QB abilities.  I'd put Luck over Ben, but behind Rivers and even Russel Wilson.  I'd take him over Flacco too.  Cutler and Luck seem to be very similar, I could swap them out...Either way, it's clear he's a top 10 QB but I'm still not convinced he's gonna be a Brady/Breese/Rodgers type QB that will own the AFC South for a decade.

Agreed.  Looks like the Chiefs are now the Eagles of the midwest.  Choke city, baby.  The Cheifs lost that game more than Andrew Luck building any type of legacy.  But of course, the media wants to create a narrative of Luck being the chosen one.  I still don't see it yet.  Yeah, he had an OK game, but please spare me the "elite" anointment for this guy.  He's not there-- yet, and he might not ever get there.  Against a better coached team that game is a loss for the c'lots.
All i can say is ...

2011 Season  JAGS 19 - COLTS 13

that final game of the season gave us the much needed momentum heading into 2012 and 2013.  Sure, the Colts got Luck with the #1 pick after losing that game, but we won the battle !!!

Go Jags !!

Hey, we had to get those culture changing wins at the end of that season. Duh...

(they were culture changing alright....but not ours, as the Colts went immediately to the playoffs the next 2 years....) sigh...

LOL, once again you say that as if its a bad thing....if he brings that franchise 8 division titles and 11 playoff wins like he did the Eagles, I doubt they will mind that.
Quote:People that talk smack on Andrew Luck as a QB are ridiculous.

The Jags should have lost game 17 that year. They should have layed down like dogs. The Colts would then have slowly faded into oblivion rather than re-loading for another decade long run.
No, they would have traded up one spot.
He sure looks over rated....wow...bunch of morons who know nothing.

The Eagles seemed to mind that. With all that success, the guy never won a Super Bowl. Andy Reid teams always lose when it counts.

It's not so much that they lose, it's how they go about doing it. I have no doubt in my mind that Andy Reid can construct a game plan with the best of 'em, but he can't manage a game for squat.

If you notice, his teams have a phenomenal winning percentage after their bye week. Maybe I'm wrong here, but I can just see him spending the bulk of his time drawing up new plays and formations and then springing it on his opponents. But it seems to me that he messes up time management so often, and in such a bad way that you wonder if it's something that he can ever get fixed. He had Terrel Owens rack up 122 yards, Donovan McNabb throwing for 350+, and he still loses a Super Bowl and it seemed that the loss was due to the poor pace of his gameplan.

Playcaller? Top Five in the game, easily. Head Coach? Not so much.
Andrew Luck = 18-2 in games decided by less than a TD.

Clutch.

.... great.  our winning (in 2011) changed the culture of the colts.   that was funny !!

Quote:Andrew Luck = 22-3 in games decided by less than a TD.

Clutch.

Yup.

Also, ESPN showed a stat the other night that Luck has the most 4th qtr game winning drives/comeback wins in the league the past 2 seasons.

He is clutch.
