I agree... time to start warming the seat a little.  The NFL is set up where the talent of each team is fairly similar.  Obviously QB being the ultimate differentiator.  But no reason the defense should look this inept.  And no reason the team should be beaten this badly week after week.

 

Henne may not be a future all pro but he started two season for the Dolphins and won 7 games each year.  Its not like he is a complete scrub who could barely make a CFL team and cant throw a football more than 20 yards down the field.  He has a legitimate NFL skillset.  Obviously he has his drawbacks but he shown he can lead a team to moderate success and one of those years had the Dolphins in the wildcard race in December.  


Point being the poor QB play excuse can only be used so long.  This team is awful and they arent competitive.  They dont have great talent but they shouldnt be this bad either.  Bradley has to take a lot of that blame.

On another note, what is this the 8th game in a row (it seems) with a personal foul in meaningful portion of the game.  I'm glad he's a players coach and he rah rah's and all the players love him, but there is no discipline on this team.  

Their game plan for defending Kaep is not acceptable. They look lost and unprepared.

There's been a lot of terrible teams in the NFL.  Only two have gone 0-16.  If we achieve that no job should be safe.

He is the head coach..it is all his responsibility.  Just part of being the man in charge..all part of that accountability thing!

Its very fair to criticize Bradley, because he is directly responsible for the success of the team! He has to win 3 games in my opinion to keep his job! There cant be no more excuses for failure!

Was Caldwell responsible for the Bradley hire?

You're clueless if you think that there haven't been a number or talent-depleted teams to win games in the NFL.  Two 0-16 teams in the history of the NFL.  If Bradley's team achieves that then his job shouldn't be safe.  

I believe it is fair game.  To this point he has done a very poor job with this football team.  I agree that I haven't seen improvement.  This team seems to be playing worse.  Any job in the world one would be judged after months of doing his job.

 

I also understand he is in a very bad position because of the lack of talent on this team.  He does not get a pass but he does not deserve to lose his job yet.

Cleveland is hanging with the Chiefs and they are awful. Enough said.

Our offensive should be better there is no doubt about it. The defense is full of rookies but come on I mean this is ridiculous.


People say we don't have the skill set to do anything. Yeah, bring in great coaching and watch that "terrible" skillset sky rocket.

That was the most heart I've seen out of this team, a second effort by MJD that results in a 30 yard run. Nice.

At the very least Bradley deserves blame for putting together a lackluster coaching staff. Many of his selections were suspect but he was given the benefit of the doubt. That luxury at least is running out for him.

Cleveland has one of the best defenses in the league. Keep proving how little you know.

I hate having one and done coaching staffs, Id rather him stay around. I also look at who we have lost to...even if its been one sided they are almost all post season bound. KC, SD(maybe), Den, Indy, Sea, SF. We did lose to both the Rams and Raiders who we didnt let run too far away since they are more on our level.  But yes either way we are bad...real bad... But i still would like to keep Bradley around to see what he does try to build.

They won 5 games last year, and are on pace to improve to .500, despite overhauls in the FO and coaching staff.


Meanwhile, we have regressed since our overhaul. We are consistently unprepared, make stupid mistakes, and choose seemingly horrible plays, regardless of field position.


How is none of this on the coach?

So this is really a surprise?  This season represents at least 6 years of poor drafting and free agent acquisition.  I am tired of rebuilding sure but I will giver them more time. Think of all the chances JDR and Gene got.  Yeah one year of this won't kill me.

Of course it's on the Coach and his staff.  We are not just losing, we are not competetive, we are being demolished and teams are bringing

in their second team in the 2nd quarter.

We have seen no improvement, has any player shown improvement by coaching? Do we see adjustments between games or at halftimes?

NO, NO NO.

We run our plan, we are unimaginative, zero creativity to use mediocre players in the right spots during games.

That is a coaching staff over it's head,  certainly Gus and Jedd are not on the cutting edge of greatness and creativity.

Being winless is not the reason Gus and Jedd should be on the hot seat.

Bad coaching is the reason.
