That's because the Jaguars' front office really hasn't changed since they announced David Garrard as the starting quarterback at a fan fest then cut him minutes after the team bus returned to the facilities.

Yep, we're a laughingstock because we released Garrard and now Lewis; both well beyond their prime.  Oh wait, I think Garrard lead the Dolphins to the AFC Championship Game --- NOT  --- HE NEVER PLAYED A REGULAR SEASON GAME AFTER THE JAGS RELEASED HIM !!!  HE WAS CUT BY THE DOLPHINS (but i guess that was the jags fault too)

The Miami Dolphins waited to see if David Garrard could get healthy. They waited to find out if they could get a trade partner for Matt Moore.

On Tuesday, they stopped waiting.
Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reported that he received a text from Garrard detailing that the veteran quarterback has been released.

Lefwich and Garrard were both cut just prior to the season opener.

Hence the term:

Leftwich'd

Lewis, nor Hurns, were Leftwich'd.

Free agency may be slow now, but picks up again nearing draft day and post draft... some movement also happens until cutdowns in preseason.

There are much worse timing to cuts than now.

You could always get Leftwich'd prior to the opener.

Before the big clamp down, they were very interesting. There was a poster named Facts Hurt who I would almost swear is FBT. Both have the same active voice and thesis. But Facts Hurt talked about running marathons and I’m pretty sure that activity is not on FBT’s resume.
