Unless the plan begins with replacing the DC, everything else within is wasted words, Doug.
With Doug's knowledge of the inner workings of bologna, his pitch to Shad may have been about a new plant with a robotic assembly line like the world has never seen using only the freshest and top ingredients to produce the world's first bologna with no red string.

I think that’s a given. The only fan Todd Wash has is his wife. No one has spoken his praises this year.
I dont understand why him and Khan are meeting tomorrow instead of today

Probably because there is no rush since he is staying...

I knew it, Khan is the biggest clown of them all.

I hate to say it fellas, but we are stuck with Douglas.
Yeah that brought me back down to reality this morning. Dallas, Washington and New York are more storied franchises and they play in a more interesting division.

Not sure if I would want to work for someone like Daniel Synder though. He's a bit of an ego maniac. And has historically overstepped as an owner.

Really uncomfortable feeling going into 2020. It's a little late to make a move now. The only saving grace is that we still have 12 teams to watch during the play off's with some potential hires if Khan changes his mind.

Probably won't be around here much next year if the chips fall that way. As it's already toxic enough as it is around here. Between keeping him and election year coming up?

Time to lay low for awhile.

Can’t play scared. That’s how you end up with 4 years of Gus, Marrone, Mularkey, resigning Bortles and not going after Watson or Lamar.

It’s time to move on and Shad should dump Marrone now. Players might like Marrone but they like winning more I would assume.
One thing that stuck with me post-game is that Calais stood up and grandstanded for Marrone.

I see him as the voice of reason in the locker room, and I know that a lot of the players respect his opinion, and will respond to his leadership. Reading what he said about Doug was my 'oh farts' moment for the day.

I have a feeling a big part of any meetings during this week will be to determine whether Doug plans to retain or replace the assistants or position coaches on the team, and if replace, whom he might have in mind. If that falls in line with the owner's plans, or if Doug is open to the owner's plans, he might just save his own bacon.

I give the team credit for rallying. If they do give Doug another year, it's playoffs or bust, no excuses, no throwing a bunch of money at free agency. We have a pretty good hand dealt. Let's see what you can do with it.

Calais is such a pro. Easily our most influential player.

I think the problem I have with keeping Caldwell, Marrone and Wash is that fans are already turned, there will be zero margin for error. The first screw up and were still Marrones Jags. I get keeping them would be easier and we can hang on to 2017 all we like but we have not competed for 2 years.

It seems more wishful thinking that facing reality.

I mean, that's more or less what the quotes from Shad said during last offseason, yet here we are.

Here we are...

...waiting to find out if he's going to follow through.

I think the problem I have with keeping Caldwell, Marrone and Wash is that fans are already turned,

If all 3 are kept... I don't see fans showing up until they prove that winning will happen. Which means a lot of season tickets not renewed and plenty of empty seats to start the season.
But perhaps the butts in the seats opinions don't always match that of a few hundred on the internets.

Well I think the attendance the last few weeks should be Khans warning. Minshew Mania is our biggest draw right now. I'm sure we will win the off season like we always do and there will be the hype of a new season but I dont see that being enough for people to part with ST cash if its Marrone and co. We have to make a change of some kind and I dont like this weird 'it was all Coghlins fault' they seem to he trying to create.
Schefter reports Marrone meeting with Khans Tuesday morning.

Eating cap so we can't pay our young talent. What a pro Campbell is. Jags fans are really easy to fool.

Not sure why Tuesday. Maybe the Khans are still gathering more information?

Seems odd.

Almost as brilliant a take as the Ngakuoe stalker.

They've been saying 'mid-week' all along.  If anything, Tuesday is a day or two early.
I find it interesting that a lot of well respected players have been praising Marrone but I haven't heard a single word about Wash.

At minimum, I think we can assume Wash is gone, which, thank [BLEEP] god.
How many assistants did JDR fire?

He went through a few on offense I think. Musgrave? Koetter? Maybe one other coach? He went through a few.

Defensively he lost Smith to Atlanta. And it's been awhile. I honestly can't remember who took over after Smith. Tucker maybe?

Marrone dropping Hackett and now Wash doesn't bother me. I get those moves. We'll be needing a new QB coach and several new coaches on defense though with Wash out of the picture.

That's the same thing that was said last season. If he stays, those words mean nothing.

And the O-Line coach. Warhop is terrible!
