Almost verbatim what he said after last year. Why in the world should be trust a word that comes out of this snakes mouth?

YES!   Another losing season here we come!!!!!
Maybe Shad Khan thinks he cannot recruit a good GM and HC as long as the team is tied to this huge contract with Nick Foles.  Maybe he thinks next year, when we can finally get rid of that contract, we'll have a better shot at better candidates.

I'm just spitballing here.  There has to be a reason why we're keeping these guys, and past performance obviously isn't it.

Khan said the same crap last year

Update on GMFB says both are staying.

As far as Dave, can we at least have someone tell him "no cute stuff", especially not with any 1st-4th round picks. We need guarantees not fliers. No Taven type reaches/surprises.
Caldwell and Tony will completely miss on our 2 first rounders.
I told you Shad feels Coughlin was to blame. From the sounds of things, his meddling caused a lot of problems.
What a [BLEEP] joke. Let's double down on failure. From a 5 win season to a 6 win season. Winning!

Same old Khan, if you cant be bothered with the actual running of the team and making decisions why not just sell it?

Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results.

Pick 9: Austin Jackson USC OT
Pick 20: Troy Dye LB Oregon

I’m flabbergasted. This makes Coughlin the scapegoat. How did that work out for the Giants, btw. They still stink!

Did Coughlin call the plays? Did he run the defense? Did he make the in game adjustments? Did he do clock management? Did he not correct penalties? Did he not instill discipline?

For all his reported meddling, he was far from the only or main problem.

At least get rid of Wash and Warhop.

This was the right move. We don’t fire head coaches after a few bad seasons. We won at least 5 games in both. We’re not Cleveland.

Yikes. Not good.

I can roll with this

One interesting thing in that statement is that there will not be an EVP of Football Ops next year.  I've been saying for months now, that job needed to be eliminated, because it meant there were 3 people doing 2 jobs, which was not a good situation.

Intentionally or not, it could work out this way! :-)

Are you kidding? Look at the jags from 2010-2019.   Outside of one year we are the Browns just that we don't have the balls to change staff as we should.
Well, 4 coaches in the last 8 years...

Maybe some stability will help. Just disappointed in bringing the whole staff. Wash in particular.

Hard to believe that Coughlin was the only problem...we will see.
