Doug and Dave trolling Tom......

Doug throwing out a word soup of crap dialog. And gotta love the jolly-times going on with the press.

I feel like Doug has no idea what to say and is just talking and improvising what to say as he begins each sentence, hoping to find it along the way. Kinda like the Michael Scott scene in the Office.

You can only piss on my leg for so long telling me it's raining. Khan has lied to we, the fans. I have lost faith in his judgement, his ability to grasp the NFL, and his commitment to winning.
Caldwell is atrocious. Marrone, nice guy, lousy coach. Coughlin was a problem. But not the only problem.
Hard to imagine this team sinking lower, but it will. We are the Jaguars.
I'd be happy with mediocrity, but that is so far out of reach......

TC was the boss so the answer to your question is, Yes.  TC wouldn't have it any other way but to have final control of every action.

It is what it is. Kind of went to acceptance pretty fast, in the end it’s football and I am not going to let it drag me down. Bigger fish to fry.

That is what makes this decision so baffling.   Coughlin was brought in to make changes to the teams culture.  Now we just turned the team back over to the people in the front office who created the culture that TC was hired to change.

The owner is nuts.....that is all I can come up with...or he doesn't want to pay Caldwell and Marrone and a new GM and HC.....
