You, with an argument of a 6 year old lol.
Enjoy another losing season next year, you really deserve it
You're not even a good troll.
So Jags lose Telvin, Ramsey and potentially Yan but end up keeping Marrone and Caldwell.
Sweet.

I just stunned at how its suddenly going to change. The Oline will block, the run game suddenly works, Washs Zone magically stops everything. Its fairytales. I hope the ST sales fall through the floor.
And guys, unless we have the #1 pick next year, we arent getting Lawrence, no matter how many draft picks we throw. What GM is going to pass him up?
This team is on a knife edge. A good draft, some smart FA additions and coaching and we could be a playoff challenger, another bad draft and guys leaving and it's full blown rebuild time.
And weve doubled down on Caldwell and Marrone.
I'm trying to think of a positive in this, but....nothing comes to mind. I don't even trust Caldwell with TWO firsts at this point, let alone just one.
I don''t know man. It's hard. I cannot understand what basis they're grounding the decision to not blow things up on. One winning season in eight or so, seems to me, appears to be an utter failure. Minshew and Allen are the only things i'm looking forward to next year.
I'm not even getting my hopes up for Yannick coming back. Hell if I'm him I'd take my chances in free agency. There are plenty of other teams NOT doubling up on failure who'd gladly take him up on his services.
You uh, know that Yannick doesn't get to just leave, right?

......and the horse you rode in on buddy...
As a result of this news I have two options. I can be so mad that I never buy another ticket to a Jag game and fret over something I have no control over or I can accept the decision and remain a Jag fan. I choose the latter.

He could throw the typical Jags fit and fake injuries after getting the franchise tag.

Nope he isn't LOL. Added to the block list. Not worth my time.

You don't like Marrone? you go coach the team then.. oh you can't
You don't like our draft you go make the picks then... oh you can't
You don't like our O-line, then you go block...
Dude, you are so smart.
Again, enjoy another pathetic season, guys like you deserve it

He can force them to trade him. It's not uncommon for players who "don't get to just leave" to do exactly that

At this point I wouldn’t hold my breath.
This team is a joke.

As do I. I just hope they don't have the audacity to raise ticket prices again this year, but have already committed to our tailgate group and friends at the stadium to renew again next year.

I don't think it was all Coughlin, but I'm pretty sure the toxic environment can be put on his back, because Marrone and Caldwell seem like player friendly guys. Marrone didn't coach differently this year, we got the same guy, so I don't think we'll get anything different next year either.
I agree that Coughlin had an influence through the franchise but him going and the rest staying sends the message HE was the problem. I dont agree with that. They all have their fingerprints on this mess.
Coughlin came in to install some rules and accountability. Remember the ping pong table in the dressing room? But the players loved it. This team needs to learn how to win in October and Novermber. This year we stumbled to 4-4, still very much in it for the South. We lose the next 5 by 17+.
And I agree, this time next year we will be a 5-6 win team. And what happens if we get the injury bug? That's not Marrones fault....
(12-31-2019, 12:20 PM)JagFan81 Wrote: [ -> ]Coughlin came in to install some rules and accountability.
That is what makes this decision so baffling. Coughlin was brought in to make changes to the teams culture. Now we just turned the team back over to the people in the front office who created the culture that TC was hired to change.
We'll see....

Why would he dump him now? Marrone hasn't recognized a flawed gameplan in 3 years.

How many times has that happened? Genuinely curious since I mostly recall the Tag ending up in a long term deal when used.
I cannot wait to hear what excuses they come up with during the press conference later today.
I really do wonder what the plan is going forward. Maybe somebody can make a drinking game out of the conference?
