How Dave Caldwell has a job at this point is beyond me. This roster is as bad or worse than what Gene Smith left us with.

Weaver was cheap so Gene did not have up to the salary cap to spend on top of that Caldwell has had much more draft capital.

IF he was a locker room problem why not just come out and say that. They were coy about it.

There certainly aren't many players on the team who have the ability to ask for someone to be released. The only reason I can see this being true is for LF to have already been demoted. If he had lost his starting job and had a bad attitude about it, then some players definitely could have asked for him to be released.

Agreed 100%. Those guys have proven they have the talent to be great NFL players. Everybody else has a lot to prove.

You have clearly forgotten how bad it was with Gene. None of his picks ever made a pro bowl. None of them were traded for anything of value. Almost all where off the team within 2 years of him being gone. There is no comparison between gene smith and Caldwell. One is an all time worst GM and the other is average at worst.
So Fournette now has Arians and Yan has Zimmer. Arians a great O coach, Zimmer a great D.
Be interesting to see what production they get. Maybe help us understand why Marrone is constantly staring at the replay screen chewing his gum and not doing a thing.

Who knows? I think people definitely have reason to worry a bit when we have had so many top players get disgruntled enough to want out.
