What are you even talking about? The argument is that no one on here knows exactly how Trump would've handled the current situation in Afghanistan, because he made major promises that he didn't live up to. Just because he said something, doesn't mean he'd follow through. You're just trying to sidetrack the discussion, because you don't like what's being pointed out. It's actually pretty funny. You think your pretty clever, don't you?

Seriously? That’s what you got out of it?  Give me a break dude.  How do I not like what’s being talked about? Please tell me my feelings.  Because only liberals know these days.

He's not a liberal, liberals have principles. He's a squish.
I love how this thread is about Biden’s colossal failure over there and people are still ignoring his big [BLEEP] up and still going with “but but but…Trump”.
Yeah, the media did a number on some folks.

Well, I'm certainly no liberal. I have principles. I'm a registered Independent. I just choose not to be gullible and drink the Kool Aid that both sides like to feed their followers. I believe every issue should be looked at on it's own merits. Nothing is black and white all the time, like both parties want us to believe.

As far as your response, it's hard to get anything out of what you write. It's full of diversionary tactics. Did you learn those at Trump University?

I’m fairly certain it’s my lack of tact that is throwing people off. How dare one say what he means these days.
Meanwhile, your senate majority leader.

The round table on Meet the Press eviscerated Biden. Me thinks this is the lever the dems were looking for to get Cackles into office.

It still doesn't make sense, the Dem Powers can't possibly believe that woman can govern.

It’s not about governing.

Precisely.

She has dark skin and a vagina. For the dems
That’s.
All.
That.
Matters.
You have it wrong. Power is all that matters.

Of course, and they derive their power from playing the race/gender card.
Does anyone else find it upsetting that leaders and high ranking members of the taliban are able to maintain and exploit Twitter handles to communicate while the 45th president of the United States is not. Lol I know this isn’t a new story but it is pretty sad.
Trump's plan and Biden's plan both hinged on the ANA keeping Kabul secure for at least a little while.
Neither of them would have been able to make the ANA do something that it did not want to do.
Biden has refused to take responsibility, saying it is the ANAs fault. Trump obviously would have done exactly the same thing, he would not have taken responsibility for this. I think it goes without saying that Trump's rhetoric would be even more rude and even less helpful than Biden's has been.
One of them might have been more nimble than the other to get more Americans out faster.
But you guys saying that this is all going to lead to Harris taking over are way out to lunch. You looked at Biden's age before he even began his administration and said that this has to end with Harris taking over. Now every thing that goes wrong is just confirmation of your prophecy. It's not that different from how I looked at how Trump treated the Establishment Republicans and I concluded that the establishment Republicans would turn on him and remove him from office sooner rather than later. Every little thing that happened, from 2017 to 2020 was, for me, just the next sign that Trump was on his way out. Take it from me guys, don't be like that.
Just got to love people who claim it as FACT how Trump would have handled this situation. “I don’t like him so he obviously would have [BLEEP] it up way worse…and then made mean tweets about it too!”

It depends on what it's being used for. If they are using it as a megaphone to announce their intentions then that can be used by the intelligence community to find other ways the Taliban is causing problems. If they're using it solely to spread propaganda and hate that is a different story and shouldn't be allowed, though the IC can use that for counterintelligence. It's a double-edged sword.

Trump just says what he's thinking and it's not always what needs to be put out to the masses. Nine times out of ten I cringed at his twitter rants. What he was saying may have been technically factual but the presentation was not something a POTUS should be saying. Should he be banned? No, but we don't make those choices.
Americans seem to be rather consistent in their support of helping these translators, many of whom were promised citizenship or a visa when they began working for our military.

Unfortunately, we have been leaving the majority of them stranded only to be murdered or forced to flee as refugees with no support going all the way back to the "W" administration continuing to present day.

No one knows how he would have handled it.  I'm just guessing when I say it would be worse, the rest of you are just guessing when you say he would have handled things better.

Was he a liar or just completely naive in the ways of DC?  Serious question.  Through Trumps many flaws, I never questioned his love of America and a desire to make her the best country in the world.
