Elections have consequences.  The perceived ineptitude of the next person in line shouldn't weigh in dealing with the situation at hand.
I wish people would stop talking about "impeachable offenses." It's a pretty broad spectrum. Congress can get the Pres for almost anything. I definitely think a bungled foreign policy would suffice. I'm not sure I want to see impeachment becoming the de facto position every time something gets messed up, though.

Regardless, I'd like to see more lefties acknowledging that the Biden/Harris pick was a really bad choice for America.
Pentagon confirms the United States will continue to rely on the Taliban for security outside of the airport.

And yes, that is real.

Pelosi tweeted this while our soldiers die.

Proud to meet with religious leaders & @UniteThePoor yesterday at the Capitol.

I came to Congress for our children. No child should ever go to sleep hungry. Thanks to @POTUS, we have a transformative opportunity to #BuildBackBetter for every family. https://t.co/BpB1l52Jsu
We are currently looking at one of the worst days of American casualties in the entire Afghan war.
11 marines and 1 sailor for a total of 12 service members killed.
Supposedly this regime is "working with" the Taliban.  Think about that....
Another explosion.

The president addressed the nation.

That's the drive-bys circling the block.

I wonder if he'll repeat his tactic from last time of assuaging the democrat voters by spending 5 minutes listing off all the free stuff he and the dems in Congress are trying to give them before addressing the real issue.

McKenzie also confirmed that ISIS-K, an affiliate of the ISIS State terrorist group in Afghanistan, is believed to be responsible for the attacks. He said U.S. officials believe it is the group’s "desire to continue those attacks and we expect those attacks to continue." ISIS-K is also an enemy of the Taliban.

So when do the joint US and taliban campaign vs isisk begin.
What a shambles. Trump decision to withdraw horrendous but Biden execution of the withdrawal also terrible.

Why is the Trump decision to withdraw horrendous?

Why is the Trump decision to withdraw horrendous?

Because the foreigner had to blame Trump somehow for what is happening.

Considering an overwhelming percentage of his brethren lefties wanted the U.S. out of Afghanistan, I find his statement a little curious.
Oh still a Trumpist conspiracy echo chamber in here.

Well have fun.

My opinion is that ballot had potential to just carry the country through some soul-searching in the next 4 years. And their natural inability to get things done minimizes any further damage. But I guess I was wrong.
