Draft the skinny duel threat qb, Lamar Jackson

Sorry mods, can you move to Still believe in Bortles. Didn't notice it until just now.
Many of those short passes weren't check downs. They were designed plays.  Olson didn't trust him to go downfield today.

I would normally say that is weird - but his poor accuracy downfield made me see why Olson kept calling those crappy, poorly timed and horribly blocked screens.

I hope this is just a phase, or a case of the yips, or an unreported injury for Blake that's making him look this way.

I wouldn't be able to say if they were designed plays.

If so....that's another issue in itself.

That's just plain horrible play calling then.
I hate to say it, but Gabbert looked better than Bortles today... in every way.

I'm agreeing with this.

I thought I would never say it.

No he didn't.

I gotta disagree with you on this one NY. Yes he actually did. He was way more poised in the pocket and threw strikes.
can the coaches be open minded and just use 100% of the time, college spread offense. It's Bortles strength, with his mobility, and long throwing motion

I noticed his long throwing motion today.

also his bad footwork.  He will never be your classic NFL pocket passer.  Time to implement the spread college offense.

I watched about 15-20 offensive snaps an saw lots of overthrows and  even more leading his receivers over the middle into huge hits.  So same stuff we saw from him here.

Didn't watch whole game, so I'll defer to you and captain-downer-david on this one.
During the bye, your avatar HAS to be Bortles...
Quote:Because he's garbage. Time to draft a QB this year!
Can you find something else to gripe about? It's getting old.

No. Bortles sucks every week. That's getting old.

Other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?
He turns the ball over every game. Hes terribly innacurate and a poor decision maker.
