Yeah, it takes too many losing seasons and blowout games for me to come around. So sorry I tried to stick in there and give Gus the benefit of the doubt all these games. My bad!
No homophobia here buddy, but there's no reason to hide things behind the altar - if you know what I mean...

And reading comprehension might not be your strongest suit - regarding the statement on the bottom.

Ok gay quips aside, Bortles sucks.
I believe with the first pick in the 2017 NFL draft the Jacksonville Jaguars select Lamar Jackson, QB (Louisville)

I still believe in Bortles as well.  I think the protection has been a tad better this year and he has been committed to staying in the pocket.  It was good to see him turn up field a few times yesterday but that is easy against a Prevent Defense.

Baltimore is going to chew us up next week if we don't scheme it up differently.  San Diego has set the plan in cement for us.  They just put on film a good butt kicking of our offense.

Bortles is on pace for 2nd season, king of garbage time stats, projected around 5,192 yards, 32 TDs

And 23 INTs
We have to believe in Bortles guys. If you don't, you are looking at another rebuild.

The defense is atrocious, no doubt. We all know that's a problem.

What's really concerning me is the offense. Man, they couldnt do anything against freaking SD until it was very late (35-0). They were like 0-5 or something in 3rd downs.

They didn't score a TD in the second half of the GB game,, and then almost 3 full qtrs in yesterday's game. Turnovers, penalties, stacked boxes, play calling are all real issues so far.
The Chargers driving down and scoring at will on the 1st drive seemed to paralyze the entire team. It is weird to think what a quick 3 and out would have done.

Yup, true. But, the offense had a chance to at least do something, they promptly went 3 and out.

Then, the defense forced a 3 and out,, and the offense sputtered again (the INT I think).

** I watched Cincy last week again the NYJ. The Jets drove all the way down the filed for a TD on the first drive,, Cincys offense promptly goes 3 and out. It was a terrible start. But, they kept plugging, and ended up winning.

Jax just completely folded on both sides of the ball until it was way out of hand.
This was by far Bortles worst game even worse maybe than his rookie year. I think he'll be fine, but he cannot have games where he swings that far off course. I've still seen enough flash out of him to think he'll be ok, but yesterday was concerning.

He's got to get his timing down with Lee. Two interceptions in two games, with basically the same problem - thrown behind Lee.
I seen some people on twitter saying bench Bortles and he's the problem

I'm sorry but anybody who thinks Bortles isnt a good QB is an idiot, no he's not on Tom Brady or Brees level, but guess what they were not on that level in their 3rd years either.

Bortles is gonna be a good QB for a long time, the question is will he be a Manning or Brady  or will he be a Stafford or Matt Ryan, which are still good QBs who can get you to the playoffs.

Some of these morons are acting like he's Gabbert or Joey Harrington

Bad QBs dont end up 2nd in the NFL in td passes or throw for over 4,000 yards in their 2nd years

He didnt have garbage time stats in the packers game dude, he throw for over 300 yards with no running game and almost beat a HOF QB

He had one bad game, and people are ready to dump him.
Quote:I gotta disagree with you on this one NY. Yes he actually did. He was way more poised in the pocket and threw strikes.
Gabbert is in like he's 7th freaking year, I would hope he looks decent by now

They are all morons and dont remember the days of real crappy QB play

people want Brady, Manning, Brees, and Big Ben QBs overnight, but the Jaguars never even had a QB that good in our history not even Mark, but these idiots wont give Bortles chance to grow

Bortles is terrible. Stop kissing his terrible tail..... hey.. wait.... The Steelers have the Terrible Towel, and we can have the Terrible Tail. Thanks Blake!!!

We should put Henne in for a couple weeks to make some of you appreciate what Bortles brings to the table.

8 quarters of batted down balls and 10 yard passes will have you begging for BB5.

Quote:Draft the skinny duel threat qb, Lamar Jackson

Jax fans are borderline inept. I'm friends with 2 NFL scouts who believe Blake will be the best in the NFL in 2-3 years; better than Luck. This 24 year old kid, just had the BEST improvement season in NFL history from 11 TDs to 35 TDs with a terrible RB, terrible o line, terrible head coach, and the league's WORST defense.

He's currently 5th in the NFL in passing yards and the Jags once again have the league's 30th ranked defense.

As someone who actually knows Blake, I hope he leaves you for greener pastures. You clowns are embarrassing.
