With the draft coming up on Thursday, let's see how close we can guess what Baalke/Peterson does. Don't tell me who YOU would do if you were picking or what they SHOULD do. What do you think THEY will do? For days 2 and three, pick positions. With the volatility of the draft, I think picking particular players becomes a random exercise. Based on needs and skilled players available, give your best guess.
Day One
#1 Travon Walker. There's a lot of buzz. It fits Baalke's profile. Vegas odds favor him.
Day Two
#33, #65, #70
G, LB, and TE. I could see a WR sneak in there if a favored prospect is available.
Day Three
#106 WR or TE, according to what happens on Day Two.
#157 and beyond depth for RB, C, and S.
1. Hutchinson
33, center
65, WR
70, G
106, LB
Really starting to think it’s Evan Neal.

Based on what?
At this point, it's looking more and more likely that it's Walker. All the media outlets are hearing the same things and they're changing their mocks to Walker.

Just got that feeling Cleatwood.

Why franchise tag Cam Robinson and why are there reports that they are negotiating an extension with him? I find the chances of the Jaguars taking an offensive tackle #1 overall to be slim.
Day 1 Hutch
Day 2 WR LB TE (not necessarily in that order)
Day 3 IOL, S, OT, RB and a few special teamer types (WR/LB/DB)

You do know there are two tackles on the field, right?
Most fans seem to think Taylor is bad so that means it's not a surprise if they want to improve that position. There are of course implications from re-signing Cam and drafting another tackle at 1.

Don’t forget about Walker Little. I think he probably wins the RT job with Taylor either being a backup or guard.

I actually think he's the odd man out. More to the point he's not in their plans
if they take a tackle.

Neil can play left guard
I’ll be really disappointed in the front office if they pass on Hutch.

If they select Travon Walker, I think that would finally end my Jaguars fandom. I've stuck with this team from the very beginning (1993), but over the last 10 years the ineptitude of the owner and front office has been wearing me down. I'm just sooooooooo tired of losing. Turning down a proven pass rusher for a run stuffing 3-4 DE with no experience at 3-4 OLB, when this team has been epically bad at getting to opposing QB's would be the pinnacle of stupidity. I don't like any of the OT's in this draft class, but I'd take any of them over Walker as well. He's not a position or a scheme fit.

Walker is the odds on favorite.
I'll miss ya if you go bud.

I hope it doesn’t end your fandom. I enjoy your contributions to the message board. Even though I don’t share your pessimism about Walker, I understand your concern about not having seen him produce sacks in college. OTH, they’ve seen Hutch’s lack of production in the GA game and may view him as not having the impact in the NFL they are looking for.
Either way, if they choose one of them I think the player will be solid even if he isn’t spectacular.
I saw two mocks that had Linderman falling to the Jags at #33. That'd be awesome, although it would be tough to pass on a great WR option at that point.
1. Hutchinson
33. Quay
65. Parham
70. Dulcich

Thanks. Hopefully, it doesn't play out like that and we do the smart thing though. At some point people need to get out of abusive relationships and being a Jaguars fan is a lot like being in a long term relationship with a woman that constantly cheats on you and beats you. There has to be a breaking point and mine would be drafting Travon Walker.

Honestly, it would also dampen my enthusiasm for the coming season, that is for sure. However, I will definitely stick with the team either way (and hope walker exceeds my expectations).
