If only there was someone on this very forum with a real and actionable plan to make both parties just labels that can't organize or antagonize anyone...

Single issue bills.  No riders.  Straight up yay or nay voting.  Then they cannot hide the kick backs.  They cannot hide who is paying for them and then the term limit discussion is a moot point.

A Single issue mandate is impossible to enforce, and term limits just make lobbyists more powerful.  See Tallahassee.

Ranked choice voting is the answer, and if the ballots were counted round Robin instead of instant runoff that would work even better.  Top two primaries would be a positive baby step towards ranked choice voting.
There's nothing wrong with single issue voting. Ranked choice would be fine if we could clean up elections. I am fine with multiple terms, but I want an option to vote people out. Combine it with ranked choice if you want. I don't care.

Turn the train towards the Republicans.  As soon as the front wheels pass the switch, throw the lever again and the back wheels will stay on the rails going straight.  As the tracks separate, the train will overturn, sliding sideways and taking out both parties.

That was me and I’m a man of my word.  I bet you and Mikesez.  I’ve had A LOT going on personally.  But just happened to have a spare moment to read the site  and saw this, haha. If I have to pay up, I’d love to.  Actually, I’m a bit let down.  But will pay up.

There he is!
Wishing you well with whatever you're dealing with and looking forward to a good reason to have a beer with a Jags fan who doesn't like how I vote.
