They said the say thing last time and none of them left. Plus other countries don't want them.

Canada doesn't want us.  Mexico and most other Latin American and Caribbean countries will take us.  The EU as well.  There's extra paperwork to make sure you're working legally but at least in Germany and in Austria the employers are more than willing to do it if they like you.  But you might not need any of that.  You might just be able to keep your US job and work remote.

I honestly don't know what's going on.. When I worked for Boeing and even Grumman, just seemed like we didn't have these problems..

They put the salesmen in charge of design decisions, accountants in charge of quality control, and figured the government and the pilots would never call them on it.  They made it harder for workers to feel like they had ownership of their role.

The 737 Max was designed by salespeople.  Southwest Airlines told them they weren't going to buy an updated higher efficiency aircraft unless it had interoperability with the 50+ year old 737 design.  Anyone but a salesman would say, "That makes no sense. We have the functionally identical 757 airframe, we can use that, or we can go clean sheet, but trying to get engines that size under wings that low is not going to work and most of it won't be interoperable anyways." But a salesman says, "yes sir, of course sir, would you like that with or without necessary safety features?"
