Together these shares are a majority of voters, in both parties.  AOC excuses herself for saying false things because those false things point people to her tangible political agenda.  The lies get her votes.  But folks like Chip Roy and Mitch McConnell are doing the same thing.  In fact I don't think any of our current elected leaders are above it.  Ron Paul was probably the last of that breed who just said his opinion without making up lies to support it.
