We're still a young team. We still make mistakes. It's going to be a dog fight guys. I don't expect a ton of scoring in this game and it's going to come down to field position, mistakes and turnovers.
Agreed. Another concern I have is that we have no idea what the Titans will do offensively. Are they going to go with Dobbs who admittedly didnt look completely terrible against the Boys? Will they go back to Willis and go run heavy with Henry and option plays for Willis? Will they play dirty to try to get into our heads? Need to be ready for anything.
Now we've faced a lot of adversity over the last month and a half in the sense we've been down early in nearly every game. So even if the Titans connect with the first punch, this team has shown it can bounce back and win. But I don't think this is going to be a walk through coronation of our ascendency.

I have faith in our offense. We can move the ball and score points. On defense, if we sell out to stop Henry, Dobbs or Willis will have to beat us. I like our chances in that situation. Granted, a lot can go wrong. Mistakes, turnovers, whatever. But we're 7 point favorites for a good reason.
I'm sure, before the game, I'll get nervous and think of all the reasons we're going to lose. But that's what I always do.

Dobbs barely completed 50% of his passes and should have had more interceptions than he actually had.
The Jags have been playing playoff football for weeks now. Every game was a must win game and they have rose to the occasion. Trevor was off target this past week (seems Cover 2 is his weakness) and yet he still was like 17/21. And then people are worried the tacks have more rest? Most of our starters took a half off yesterday. They’ll be fine.
Confidence is a heck of a drug and this team (and more importantly the defense) is high on it right now.
I have faith in Dougy P, Trevor and honestly, Foye. That’s the Jags new 3 headed monster.
Sucks for the team it’s Saturday night rather than Sunday, but for an English fan having to watch the game at 1.30 in the morning Saturday is a life saver thought I was going to be going to work Monday morning on zero sleep.
Yeah, Saturday is better for most fans, but overall worse of the team, given then only have 5 days to truly rest.
If there's any team right now that can survive a 5-6 day short week, The Jags can..

I'm always shocked just how filled that stadium is when we go over there to england, those are some real fans out there.

Wildcard games are scheduled on saturdays too. This will eventually lead to an extra day of rest at some point assuming we continue on our run.
I'm pretty sure both the Wildcard round and the Divisional rounds have games on Saturdays and Sundays.
I could see the Jags getting two Saturdays in a row and then and extra day of rest if/when they advance to the AFCC weekend.
Whoever we play on wild card weekend that Saturday would be going on 6 days though.
I have tickets for this game and the possible playoff game. I get up early for work, so Saturday night is great for me.
The team is losing 17 hours rest playing Saturday night instead of Sunday afternoon. The team has been fairly healthy most of the season, so the slightly shorter week probably won’t matter.
The tacks are a beat up team that is starting either a rookie or practice squad QB in this game. The Bank will be absolutely rocking and the team will feed off of that. I’m hoping the Jags in a runaway.
That is a shocking stat about 2-6 teams this year.

That's crazy.
Man wish I could be there in the Bank. But I'll definitely be yelling at my TV like I was there.
No matter the outcome....... we should all be grateful we managed to get to where we are based on where we were 6 weeks ago... and especially last season.
I truly believe we're going to win if we don't let Henry just go off. Dobbs, Willis... doesn't matter.
5 days off vs 8 days? Doesn't matter. Most of our guys had half the last game off
Can't. Wait.

I thought about but it was either this game or a wildcard game. I decided the wildcard game. If we lose to Tenn. and dont make the playoffs im glad i didnt go to the game regardless lol. If we can beat Tenn though ill be at the WC game though in 2 weeks
A lot of the things Baalke did this year in FA was to stop Derrick Henry/take controll of the division. To take this division you have to be able to stop the run. Oluokun, Fatukasi, Lloyd, Walker etc. Will it pay off? Week 18 will determine if it was all worth it.
It’s been a long time since I was this confident in the Jaguars winning a big game. Of course I understand that they can lose & things can go wrong in games. However, we are the better team. We have the better coach. We have the better QB. We are at home. We are playing playoff caliber football & they are not.
Let’s go get it.
This is an opportunity to introduce ourselves to the world.
I feel good about this game. Doug will have them prepared.

Adding a 17th game and a 7th seed to the play off picture will do that though.

The key is getting off to a fast start and keeping your foot on the pedal. You have to get after Henry. You have to be alert for the screen plays.
I expect them to throw the sink at Lawrence. I expect cheap shots. It's coming. Just have to check your ego and emotions and hope the stripes catch them in the act and not us.
I said it earlier but I think this is going to be a game where Lawrence does more with his legs. I think he has a chance of breaking out on the ground. This is the game to do it with the divisional title on the line.
I don't want to hear about ties or wildcard scenarios. Thats nonsense. You win. You are in. That's that. Make a statement. You have the division on the ropes. Knock these [BLEEP] out of the ring and become the new King of the South.
