It was actually the selection of Walker at #1 which made him "quit" on the team and give up lol. You know he's kicking himself right now over it.

He may not post on that account again, but I have no doubts he's still around. Whether it's lurking, or as one of these "new" accounts that have suddenly shown up this season. But his knee jerk reaction is a prime example of why you suck it up and deal with stuff that you have zero control over. Especially when it comes to something like a sports game.

Yes our team has been through Hell for waaaay too long due to multiple extenuating circumstance of which I won't recount. It's the past. I've been reflecting this, saying this the entirety of our past process of being cellar dwellers. "Suck it up and deal w/it" because we as fans can't do anything about it.

Even when some fans of any sport starts CLOWNING to try and force a change, there's "zero control". These same fans are now back tracking because we've finally have the correct pieces to the puzzle that's now paying dividends. 

BTW, it'll rear it's head again when it's the off season and said fan wants their specific player via. the 2023 NFL Draft and FA. Those fans will be back because it's in their DNA.

Time Will Tell.

Really wanted to go to the game but I couldn't get out of work. Needless to say I will be listening/watching on my phone the entire time regardless. For the fans going to the game, bring the noise.

It's been 5 years since we've had a game of this magnitude really, and 10 years before that. It's great! But a little nerve racking too. Here's to another decade+ of these kinds of games in January!

I slept like a baby. The one thing I've learned about this team over the years is when you become sleeplessly excited about a game is precisely when they'll let you down. If we lose tonight, I will be sadly disappointed but not caught off guard. I'm as skeptical as an estranged wife whose husband promises her he's really changed this time.

We'll see.
