Each generation after the baby boomers is more educated than the one before. Education doesn't always fix ignorance, but it definitely doesn't increase ignorance.
Ignorance seems greater with each generation because the barriers to entry into influencer status are lower and lower because there are more and more channels.
When I say we dumbed down education, I was wrong. I should say the Boomers let responsibility erode under their watch. That used to be a function of education. It's not anymore.

A UAW official wore a t-shirt when addressing the convention which said “Trump is a scab”. They’re just serving up red meat to the supporters. I’m sure plenty was served up at the RNC convention.

I have a hard time leaning either way politically, but, the left has become completely unhinged, out of touch and demonizing.
Our country is dying for a viable, third party to rely on, be proud of and support in full.
The two major parties here are corrupt. It's probably always been the case, but, it at least felt normal over the past older decades versus the Looney Tunes we see now out there.
People say we deserve better, and that, we can do better. I agree and disagree at the same time with this notion.
We enabled this. We voted for this. We accepted this. From both parties. Today's candidates are just a symptom of the general public's narcissism and cynicism.
We're cooked.

I was somewhat enthused to watch the the RNC convention last month. I was also somewhat looking forward a few weeks ago to watching the circus that is the DNC convention, but now that it's here I don't really care and actually forgot it was on last night until coming here and seeing the posted clip of Killary. The left has always been driven by negative emotion... hate, anger, jealousy, guilt, etc... Knowing that, I just find it hard to tune in to consume it being amplified at the DNC.
I’m wondering when a 9-year-old boy in drag is led onstage by a couple of drag queens where he reads a statement bemoaning the anti-trans laws which forced him to be transported across two states to find a doctor who could legally cut his pecker off.
