What i'm trying to say is places like New Orleans, Miami and Tampa have signature places like bourbon st, south beach and St Petersburg so the NFL media tolerate those markets. However, the national media view Jacksonville in my opinion as a minor league city or a backward town instead of a legitimate NFL market and i just don't get their logic behind it.

Until the Jags win the big one... or at least are serious contenders for a long time, they will be viewed as the red headed step child that wasn't wanted by the other siblings. We are a small market in a state that already had two other NFL teams, so until we do something to change that perspective, that's the way it'll be.
Maybe they'll stop being seen as a joke when wusses stop complaining about 'negative press'?

I lived in St Louis and they would rather have another world series win or a Stanley cup victory. This is just a sad end to a long slow screw job. Stan was never going to keep the team there. They certainly don't deserve our team.

So just because i dont live there that means im not a fan? I have been to Jacksonville plenty of times to attend games. I've been to 6 home games. And i was at the Jets game this past season. How do i bash them, because i complain how the organization is run. Have they given me any reason not to?

It's easy to complain how someone else runs their business.
It's even easier to not support said business.
Especially when you live so much closer to other businesses that are ran so much better.
Nothing more amusing than to see a complete lack of self awareness so aggressively displayed.
