That's what I thought...

 

I said it a few weeks ago, but I just don't understand the NFL anymore. The rules are just obnoxiously complex at this point and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why any of them exist or how/when they're enforced.

They just announced they're giving the timeout back as I was typing this.

 

Now I'm even more confused than I was before.
