They were realistically out of it anyways. Titans lost MM... no way are they beating the Texans which they would need to.


 

Actually at 7-9 it's still not mathematical... but there's no realistic way.

Now, this ought to put an end to all the nonsense of making the playoffs once and for all. The pluses in this game is that Bortles played yet another decent game. He did NOT have a hand in losing it.

I guess are offense isn't as good as everybody thought. 17 points v Atl that's awful and Posluszny helped with Int. Defense isn't good but there not the only reason we lost today!

6-10 seems more likely. Defense will be obliterated by Brees at home, but the Texans will sit their starters in week 16 for the playoffs.

The D sucks.  It's just a really bad way to play defense.  We play "prevent" almost all the time.  Of course we can't really ever get a stop when needed

That said, Gus had better win one of his last two games vs the Saints or Texans.
