So you are relying completely on stats. If you actually watch the games, you would see that the entire offense runs directly through our passing game. And the only thing that makes our passing game work is BB5.

But right now, is a top 10 QB in all the important statistical metrics. He's top 10 in yards. Top 10 in TDs. He's asked to throw the ball more than most QBs and he's only in his 2nd year. The guy is being asked to carry the team.

You keep going back to the offensive line, Mariota's line has been much worse in pass protection and it isn't even close. The Chargers, Giants, and Saints all have some of the worst offenses in the NFL with hardly any effective production from their running games either, yet they're still top QBs. Having a bad defense isn't an excuse for being inaccurate and forcing turnovers. If what you're saying is right (really how could you how he feels) that just shows Bortles doesn't have the composure to lead an NFL team.

defensively they seem to be a little better than us, offensively their QB is kind of carrying them (though their run game has gotten better each week.)
