Quote:Calling out fans calling for change. "Like firing everyone is going to result in a super bowl win"

What do any of our players know about winning super bowls? When you have players defending a coach that's taking a beating, you know it's near the end. They see him as a friend. He may not have lost the locker room, but being too friendly with it can be just as toxic.

We do not need to fire everyone that is part of why after three years of rebuilding the team is still lacking in talent in several areas.

The team does have talent and potential with the right set of coaches I think Blake Bortles, Allen Hurns, Allen Robinson, RG Linder, RT Parnell, LG Zane Beadles, HB TJ Yeldon, HB Corey Grant, TE Julius Thomas all could be successful on Offense with better OC /HC at the helm.

Khan moves the team to London and we all have nothing to do on Sundays anymore.
Quote:But the "fans" are?

Clearly nobody in the organization knows what the heck they are doing, so is it so bad for the fans to question everything?
Coming into the second half totally unprepared week after week after week is on the coach. All those penalties... Lack of composure is on the coach.

Lack of discipline and focus. These guys should be worried about their jobs, not us. I swear, they don't give a [BLEEP] about us because they think we're stupid and they're millionaires. Like stroud said, out of touch. They shouldn't forget where they came .

I am numb to the threat of London, LA, you name it. I really don't care anymore to be honest. I used to be so concerned about this team moving, but their performance and overall game day experience has made me just not care. I have lived here since I was 2, long before professional football was even a twinkle in the citys eye and despite what people say, Jacksonville would be just fine without the Jags.

Penalties aren't, how can a coach control that?

I feel sorry for you then. I'll be devastated if something like this would happen. I'm sure the Rams fans will cheer their teams wins and losses as hard as they can until the last game of the season even though the inevitable is coming for their team. No matter how bad it looks, it can always be worse.
Quote:Also, I don't think people are asking for a super bowl. A 7 win season would be nice right about now.
At this point, 5 wins looks unattainable.

Speak for yourself.

Coaches are supposed to "coach" their players about penalties - it's one of the main things they do.

After today, it's almost ridiculous to argue other wise.

Why do you feel sorry for me? It's just a stupid game. I have a family and investing a full Sunday in this bag of pooh that brings no joy to my life is a pretty big deal for me. I feel it is my obligation to support the team financially, which I do, and am fortunately able to do financially, but I feel like my ROI is less than 0 and am tired of people acting like the team staying here is doing us a favor.

Chris Clemons is a 10 yeat vet and former pro bowler. NO coach is gonna "coach" him.

Another coach might not give the team ice cream and sprinkles after such a letdown.  Gotta hand it to Gus - he knows how to keep a locker room together.  All about the ice cream and participation trophies.
Quote:Where exactly is the perception that we are getting better coming from? WE ARE NOT GETTING BETTER.
Agreed.  Anyone actually watching the games can see that.

By coaching them not to do it? Call a timeout when it starts getting out of hand. This isnt rocket science.

I'm drunk, so [BLEEP] you....

And thank you for your service.

Ummm, yes - they do.  Maybe the Jags are coaching the players - hence all the penalties.

Bortles did some great things today, but he and the rest of the offense was lost at the start of the 3rd quarter.
