Quote:No one is defending Gus, I'd like to see and offensive minded coach in here myself but I'm just saying the players love the guy and pulling him away from them now could be disaster.

We had Dirk Koetter.
He's confused...it's not the 1-3 record, it's the 8-28 record...

1-3 is a 25% winning %.  8-28 is 22%.  Is he calling the 3% increase proof that change is not needed lol?

Quote:say what you want about firing Gus or not but these players love him and play hard for him. Firing him mid season will just lose the team right now

They love him? I don't give a crap. They are 1-3 and just lost to a backup qb. These players should also be walking on egg shells because they can all be replaced.

The players and the coach have no right to be upset about anything that Shad Khan may do. How about you start winning some games before anyone cares about your opinion.

Could be disaster? Newsflash: we are in the middle of a disaster. The disaster is currently happening.
Quote:Who cares what he says. He doesn't have to watch this garbage

Au contraire, I think he absolutely does have to watch this garbage.   Between standing on the sidelines during games, and watching it during team meetings, he probably has to watch it 10 times as much as you do.   You're watching it, he's LIVING it.
Quote:Did anyone else see Bortles at the end? Sitting on the ground with his head in his hands?
I hope he's so embarrassed that he doesn't want to show his face...I hope the whole team is embarrassed...

I agree and besides, I remember 1996 when we were 3-6 and everyone wanted Coughlin fired.   9 games later, we were playing in New England for the AFC Title.

You have to let it play out to the end of the season.

Gus is no TC. In fact, Gus is probably the farthest you can go from a Tom Coughlin type of coach.
Of course these players like Bradley.  He's soft and easy on them.  Anyone would like a boss who is soft on them and doesn't hold them accountable.  And for those thinking "this thing needs to play out," it has...Bradley has had 36 games now to show us something.  The only thing he has proven is that he can't win and still sucks at in-game management.

The Coughlin comparison is horrible.  Coughlin is a future HOF coach while Bradley is a future worst coach of all time article blip.

There are no more excuses.  He's a nice guy but a bad head coach.  Time to move on.

While I agree that firing Gus now would not help anything at this point in time, I'm on the fence about firing Gus...The thing is, everyone wants him gone without having a plan for after he walks out the door for the last time...Is there a better option available right now? I know the OC has been talked about as an interim HC, but is that better than what we have now? Is it worse? Is it worth it to find out by just firing Gus and letting him try? My feeling is, let's just let this play out and see what happens and who is available for the HC spot after the season if it doesn't turn around...Firing Gus just to be rid of him isn't going to solve the problem, there has to be a clear upgrade to him before firing him is going to make any difference...

Anything is an upgrade over GB.

We have Doug Marrone on this staff. A guy who has won more games last year alone than Gus has in 36 tries.

Give him the keys to the team and make a clear statement. Guarantee you he will have a better win % than Gus has had so far. By next year you open up the wallet and get the best possible coach for this team.

Dude... how could it get worse? Thats the whole point.

He's so bad that it really can't get worse.
Honestly im even more angry about this twitter post now than last night. Who the hell does a guy who isnt even playing think he is? He plays for a 8-28 regime who isnt showing much progress at all in 3 years. Asking for patience is [BLEEP] insulting

You obvious dont know how it works in a locker room.  SuperJville fan ruling with an iron fist from behind his keyboard
Then saying you "love/hate" fans. Really? Because youre putting a [BLEEP] product on the field every week. Do your job, give us something to cheer for, then this wouldnt be an issue

I wonder if he tweeted from his 200K Lambo.

You're right.  We should take him out to the 50 yard line and let you verbally flog him.
