Quote:I honestly think it's preparedness, well, lack thereof. Gus has these men in situations that make it impossible to win.
I read several articles about Bill Belichick the week prior to the Jags game. He put the Pats through nearly every scenario possible during practice; even situations that don't come up much in games. He prepares meticulously for every thing imaginable. I am not privy to the Jags' closed practices, but somehow I get the feeling that Bradley doesn't cover half of what Belichick does. This team continues to be out-coached in the 2nd half. Bradley is obviously a nice person, but he appears to be in over his head. Pete Carroll is a fun guy, but Pete Carroll can also be seen on the sidelines ripping into players that get outplayed, make costly mistakes, and don't execute. I just don't see that in Bradley; he just paces the sideline with his mouth wide-open. My preference would be to just let him finish out the season to see if he can salvage any credibility. If not, he needs to be replaced with a coach that demands performance and accountability. At this point, Bradley seems more like a male cheerleader you see at a college game.
Quote:I actually pay for the directv package to watch them so I feel I do my part. If not I'm stuck watching the lame Cowboys. lol. I always used to go to bww and watch them play before I just got directv.
I go to a bar every now and then, but sometimes they don't show it either way. It stinks lol

It just sucks when ur home team, after 1 loss/ 1-3 at this point, wants everybody fired. What u gon get? A hole new, Super Bowl team?
Can't say he's wrong.
He's sounds like a player who loves his "comfortable environment ".
Quote:Also, I don't think people are asking for a super bowl. A 7 win season would be nice right about now.
The sad part is losses like these make even the modest goal of winning 7 a lot more difficult.
Quote:Khan moves the team to London and we all have nothing to do on Sundays anymore.
Apart from me
Im sorry but name any other coach that started 8-28 and kept his job. Few and far between
If they love their coach so much maybe they should try and score more than 13 pts a game. Getting off the field on 3rd down wouldny hurt his status either.

lol, and the Jags can't even get a "W" on twitter when they should.
It's "whole new" not "hole new"
Quote:Nobody expects the season to be saved. At least I hope they don't.
This is sad about the jaygwires. We are talking about the season being over after 4 games. We suck on a whole different level.
Quote:And that can't take place at the end of the season? Again, what does it accomplish now?
Maybe it shows that everyone is held accountable, even the coach.
He most likely won't be fired until about mid season if this continues.
Its the fact that he's won eight games in the last two years and one month of football. That's the problem. And I don't see how you can possibly defend him anymore. People keep crying about talent and that's getting old as well. Jeff Fisher didn't inherit a great team in St. Louis. He's kept them competitive at the minimum. Bruce Arians didn't inherit the greatest of situations in Arizona. He's turned them around quickly. Todd Bowles with New York looks great already this year. Mike Pettine in Cleveland last year made the Browns a bit more interesting but they've taken a step back this year. Daniel Quinn with Kyle Shannahan have the Falcons already looking competitive after an embarrassing season last year. At some point, you have to question the coaching, the play calling, the penalties, etc. Does Gus stack up? No, he doesn't. Stop making excuses. And start coaching better to win some games.
I hate twitter. It is bad enough being at the beckon call of work without receiving rants and retweets from athletes. Social media is all part of us putting too much stock in sports and entertainment.
Look out for the bread and circuses.
Quote:I am numb to the threat of London, LA, you name it. I really don't care anymore to be honest. I used to be so concerned about this team moving, but their performance and overall game day experience has made me just not care. I have lived here since I was 2, long before professional football was even a twinkle in the citys eye and despite what people say, Jacksonville would be just fine without the Jags.
That last part is incorrect. No one at the city has Khans vision. Will the city live? Sure. Will it thrive and live up to the potential that it can? Absolutely not. I really don't get the our team is losing so relocate them mindset. Root for someone else. You do not have to root for the Jags whether they stay here or not. Is it easy to be a Jags fan? No. Maybe you are too soft to be a fan of the Jags. 31 other teams.

I don't know how they can get away with this. Practice time is extremely limited by the CBA. I guess he sends them out with home work. Bill has Google Glass or oculus rift and has them plugged in to the matrix.

No, I can't say he's wrong either, but on the other hand, it's not just 1-3 we're talking about here. It's years of this failure. And if he loves Gus, as reportedly most of the players do, then he and they surely realize, they are playing for Gus' job. NOW. If you love that coach, you better start winning some games.
Just reality.
I guess it was his turn to shout out to the fans in reaction to the loss.
When you play the game you aren't a fan of the game anymore. Fandom is a much different experience than having it be your job.

To be fair to Marks, if anyone has played hard for Gus these last 2 years it's him.
I like this tweet. It shows frustration on the players part too, and hopefully the players now realise that if they want to save their buddy Gus, they need to step up and start performing.
Smart man, he's knows where the money is coming from.
