Quote:Liberals are the only ones upset that he isn't going.  Who's feelings are hurt?
Apparently Trumps and some liberals.

It's also not all Liberals. Some of them are upset he's not going and then there are others who don't care.

Put me in the camp that doesn't care... though I'm not a liberal.

I personally don't care either.

He obviously can choose to do whatever he wants. However not going because of the media seems like a poor excuse. The media is everywhere so maybe he should stay in a bubble.

Perhaps the media should be more professional and actually report the facts rather than try to distract by highlighting this non-issue.  There are more important problems to solve and issues to address for the President other than a fundraiser.
What exactly is the end game for the media here anyway? Keeping the people pissed off who were already pissed off to begin with?

There just aren't that many of "those" people, we just need to get the good guys in our social activism groups and college campuses re-engaged with our messaging and then it will be Obama-lot all over again!

So far the president seems very focused on what the media says about him. Focused on what SNL says and other things.

He should stay focused on what really matters as well.

I wouldn't call it "focused".  I would call it unafraid to call out the disinformation that the fake news media puts out.

Solid Snake explain this.

The 1st Amendment does not grant any member of the news media access to the government. It protects the press from interference from the government but does not grant any kind of access to the government at any level other than that granted any other member of the public.

Funny you use Politifact when it's convenient. I thought they were considered fake news.

So you agree with Politifake's "half-true" label that Donald Trump defended WW2 internment camps, despite him never making a single statement on them?

You are shameful and the reason fake news thrives.

He made many statements on them. Albeit when he was asked a direct question?

Now you are making "Fake News".

So when did he defend them? Politifake said it was half-true, so there has to be a statement of Trump defending internment camps, right?

I can concede he has made comments when interviewed about them, but to believe that Politifake can give the "half-true" label to Trump defending internment camps and still be considered a credible source for news, is kind of silly.

Politifact isn't saying he defended them.

Here is a direct quote:

"I certainly hate the concept of it. But I would have had to be there at the time to give you a proper answer." Donald Trump

is a quote that is definitely the opposite of support for

They never said he supported it.

They are rating the quote "Donald Trump defended" WW2 internment camps. He didn't. Any rating different than 100% false shows that Politifact is 100% garbage.

He didn't entirely denounce it either. And to be fair they are rating someone's interpretation of his poor words.

EDIT: Not denouncing something is nowhere close to the same as defending something.

They are rating someone else's lie about what Trump said. It should be rated 100% false. If you fail to see the partisan nature of Politifact then there's nothing I can do for you.
