There's nothing to suggest your running game is the best y'all ever had. You also have no one other than Greg Olson to rely on in the passing game. Your D will be good. No doubt. That'll be the difference in the game. You are also on the road. We will see if your D is too much to overcome.

All of those teams except the Bucs had more wins than the Jags last year. So there's that whole thing....

What we feel is that we have a chance to beat your great 7-9, record breaking star QBd panthers on opening day. A chance! 'Automatic win' is an unintelligible twist of our expectation by you.
What bothers you, like all chest thumping fans that invade opponent forums, is that we don't bow and tell you how much better your team is, and that the win is yours in advance. The game will be played. Good luck to my Jags, hope no injuries to both squads.

No that's actually not it at all. Pretty much every post in here hasn't explained how/why you guys will win the game. You haven't told me in which facet of the game you control which will lead to victory. Instead you guys decide to throw out some BS opinions about Cam and our losing record. And if you feel like you have a chance to win just because we were 7-8-1 then that's not a very good analysis. We (the majority of us) don't accept that we're going to walk over the Jags because you won 4 games last year. Sure we expect to win - but we can tell you why we expect to win - and it has nothing to do with your record last year.
I actually haven't said anything here that would be close to thumping my chest. But I certainly have countered your false assumptions about our QB. If you take that as chest thumping then that's due to your own insecurities about opposing teams' fans visiting your board. I'm a Panthers fan - when have I even been in position to go to another team and puff out my chest and act cocky. As few times as you have I'm sure.

Cam won rookie of the year, set passing records for a rookie and also first two years in the league, has made two Pro Bowls, and you guys think he's Jay Cutler because all you see is what happened last year?
I suspect they're pulling your leg. Cam is much better than Cutler. With enough talent around him I think he can go far. It's a shame you guys lost your talented rookie WR.

That's not why I feel we have a chance to win. I feel we have a chance to win because the Panthers passing game outside of Olsen is virtually non-existent.
