You are correct.  They've got a gag order on the media.  They're talking about it now on the radio.  Oehser is gushing about Thomas now saying he's a guy that teams are going to have to game plan against.  No details shared, but it sounds like he'll be an interesting guy to watch this year.

No, Gene posted a tweet that only said #jaguars and now everyone is making fun of him on twitter. His follow up tweet was about Fowler getting surgery by Dr. Andrews in Pensacola.

Is there a reason some people don't have Twitter?

 

You don't have to tweet anything at all and you can select only certain people to follow. I rarely tweet but it's amazing on Sundays because they update people who are playing and who is ruled out. Fantasy football lifesaver.

I typically stick to Rotoworld for fantasy stuff like that, but yeah no reason not to have a twitter if you want to follow a certain type of news (i.e. NFL).  I have never tweeted anything but I follow a lot of stuff.  It's nice during draft time too.

This. I got one to strictly follow Jags players and NFL media guys. I've yet to tweet one thing.

There are a host of reasons some folks don't have Twitter.

Some of us seasoned individuals do not see value (or we are afraid of the future;-)

I know of folks that live under "Social Media Exclusions" as a continued employment requirement.

I have Twitter and I really don't like it.  Most of the time, if you want to follow all the right people, it's a lot of information at once.  It gets annoying.

You can't get that point through to some folks.  Injuries happen, even in non-contact drills.  Heck, if you think about ACL injuries in particular, many times it had absolutely nothing to do with contact.  We've seen that first-hand with Tony Boselli and with Fowler.  Teams can do a lot of things to mitigate the risk, but at some point you have to put guys on the field, and any time you do, there's a chance someone is going to get hurt.
