For 2013, this shows the highest drop percentages in the league among tight ends. Guess who is not on there?

This part.

Quote:To qualify a tight end needed to be thrown at least 30 catchable balls, leaving a field of 36.

He's credited with 29 catchable balls. He had a drop rate of 13.79. I'm looking at the stats. If you don't have a PFF subscription, you'll just have to trust me.
Quote:Proven how? In 2011 PFF ranked him 31/35 in drop rate. 2012 He was 22/37. 2013 he was 40/41. 2014 he didn't get enough snaps but he would've had the 6th worst drop rate. He drops a lot of passes.

Its not even just the flat out drops, but that even his catches are often "double-catches".
Quote:People overblow Lewis' lack of production and miscues because there are Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham's, and Gronkowski's out there scoring TDs every week.

And Lewis is stuck trying to help the O-line block and not really used a lot of a pass catcher.

He's also getting older and not really getting better with a big contract.

Lewis can only do what is asked of him.
The problem is the Lewis is getting paid like an elite TE when he's not.  Same as Scobee - highest-paid kicker in the game, but definitely not the best.

We need truly elite players and we don't have them on the roster - or at least our young players haven't developed enough to be in the elite category.  I hold out hope that some of our young WR's/CB's have that potential, BB5 will develop into an elite QB.
Quote:Here is the 2012 list. Also not there.

I've posted these before. They get ignored.

Who would you say is the best kicker in the leauge? Scobee is one of the best he just does not get the pub cause #becausejaguars. I cant think of another kicker i would rather have.
Quote:Good for bortles and co.

Beadle paid 2.7 million for 1800 square feet? Must be a pretty special view.
proof he's a bust

what a senseless buy, how often is he even gonna be there?

rent or lease holy [BLEEP]
Quote:Wow, he got ripped off. Could've got a lot more house on a Florida beach. It's also hard to believe the house's value nearly doubled in 10 years, but I'm no real estate expert.

No need to convince me of that.
Blackmon going?

I would much rather cut Lewis and use half that money on someone like Charles Clay and half on Owen Daniels. We will get 1 down the field threat in Daniels and one blocker and catcher in Clay. Lewis has to go.

I'd rather see Maxx Williams in Teal.

Quote:Yep. And the drops are blown out of proportion as well. Middle of the pack.

Perhaps total drops only because he's not targeted that often, however, I'm betting he's near the top of the list in terms of drops per target among TEs.

Oh my... put up against the list of players from 2013, a drop rate of 13.79 would make him the second worst only behind Ravens TE Ed Dickson.

Scobee is and has consistently been a borderline top-five Kicker in this league.

Will Blackmon be in attendance?   :woot:

This is awesome!  Is it open to the public?

Its good to see the guys being able to get acclimated with each other before the actual season starts. Should be good to get some throwing in.

Great news. They seem very excited about playing together. Let the future begin!

That's a leader right there.
