I find it almost hypocritical that a Colts fan would accuse another fanbase of being "jealous" of their teams success, when 25 years ago, they had some of the worst teams in NFL history. In 1981 the Colts defense allowed an NFL record 533 points, and more then 6,793 yards allowed. As well as 8.19 yards per dropback. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Baltim...lts_season

.

You don't really think he was a colts fan prior to the manning era do you?  He, like most of the rest of them, jumped on the bandwagon when the colts started winning.  Prior to that, it was the colts who played in front of empty seats and were always the team in the conversation of relocating.

PERKOLATER KNOWS!!!

He talked to Pagano last night to get all the info. He's probably on his way to have dinner with Irsay tonight.

Or drinks...
Personally, I think the Colts lost their Mojo when Trent Richardson didn't make the trip to Foxboro.  Richardson is the heart and soul of that team.

We saw the same in Cleveland .... without Richardson, teams can't compete.

What did I say that was inaccurate?  Do you recall the old Hoosier Dome/RCA dome years prior to Manning?

Although the Colts performed admirably in the first rounds of the playoffs (defense was outstanding in the first 2 games),, going 5-5 outside of the AFCS is not very good.

I'm sick of these other AFCS south teams being so lousy, that it guarantees the Colts a home playoff game before the season even starts.

It really sucks for teams like Chargers, Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Chiefs who may have excellent seasons but have to go on the road because they're in a tough division.

AFCS = guaranteeing a Colts home playoff game for another 5 years.
Quote:The blowout yesterday doesn't change the facts going into next season. clots are favored to win the division and get another home playoff game, probably against the bungles or the squeelers. They will win that game... Then go on to face an older brady and belicheat... This could go on for a few more years.

And luck is now elite.

Brady, Rodgers, Luck are all in a category by themselves. Then the next tier of QBs comes in: Romo, Breese, Rivers, Flacco, Eli, et all...

Luck is elite because you may as well project him as a home playoff game for the next decade. Those 2nd tier QBs need help around them to get a home playoff game...

Still don't like luck. I think he's a total goober, and I can't stand the praise he recieves either. But facts are facts. The dude is the 3rd best QB in the league as of right now. maybe he regresses next year... I hope so. But we can't really depend on that...
wow you are gonna place him above Flaaco and Big Ben?? You know..QB's who have actually won something...the jury is still out on Luck. I dont get all the love for this kid, he's good but he has to prove a lot more to be elite in this league.

What did I say that wasn't true about Tarps, LA Jaguars, or? Swaguars? ... I didn't say

That is still kids stuff.  You refuse to grow up, mentally.  There is no doubt you and Irsay knew each other, you can't deny it any longer.  He cheated on you with Belichick, didn't he?  It explains all that pain the name Irsay brings you.   Smile

LOL!   You claim I refuse to grow up and then post that garbage?   Irony at its finest.   Oh, and I didn't bring up Irsay.... just the bandwagon jumping colts fans...It was your boy CW who brought up Irsay.   I could care less about Irsay,  I just hate colts fans.  :}    Nice way to avoid the point though.

Enjoy the off season.

You know Irsay on first-name bases though, right? Why don't you call him Jim? How was your dinner with him earlier this week?

If it makes any difference, I wish I knew Jim Irsay close enough to call him Jim.

That would be a fun friend to have.

No.  I mentioned that I did meet him once (in a suite at one of the practice days for the Indy 500) and CW got so jealous that I met his little man crush that he has to keep bringing it up.   Irsay wouldn't know me if he tripped over me, but for some reason CW thinks its a big deal.  Comical really.

Did he give you any info into who we may go after in the draft/free agency this year? I would like to know. I'll be sure to give you the credit!

Probably a bit.

Edit:  I wasn't being very nice towards Jim, so I had to delete it.
