Quote:You're really simple minded.

Look at our loses this year: Outside of the first game of the year vs. Denver, Colts defense gave up these points: 30, 51(!!!), 42, & 42.

EDIT: Oh wait, don't even take out Denver. Denver scored 31. So in all of our loses Luck is asked to score 30 points EVERY game. That's tough to do. But yeah, he stinks.  Rolleyes

Yikes. Also, if I cared enough I'd look up Colts rushing yards to go along with it. I'm assuming we didn't have over 50 in any of those.

its both sides of the coin. if luck was really this god like prolific passer, then it should open up the run game, even if its average running backs in the backfield. he doesnt though. why is that?
Quote:andrew luck has beaten exactly 1 playoff team this year. does that show a lack of football knowledge? or is that indicting him for 1 game? ill answer for you, no, is the proper answer.

He will get another chance to beat a playoff team this year in the playoffs.

Will he rise to the occasion? We'll see in a couple of weeks.

I think it's safe to say he will have to play much better then he did today against the Cowboys.

It doesn't work like that, I'm sorry. Like I said, you're really simple minded.

Luck prior to this week lead the league in passing yards & touchdown passes. Still can't run the ball.
Quote:i think he still makes top 10 because qb play overall in the NFL is not very good right now.

but his completion percentage has also dipped and is hovering just slightly above his career average right now.

he just hasnt really improved throughout his career so far. luck came into the nfl a very polished player. he came in close to his ceiling, it isnt necessarily a bad thing. he is still good. he was still the right pick at 1 overall. he just doesnt live up to the hype or the projections people have for him.

That's basically my view, though I think he has improved this year (though tailing off terribly).

But again i'm stupid for thinking Luck is good and Brady is awesome and not the other way round

i understand you have to try and make simple minded insults because youre upset right now. your team just got smoked and the caveman got benched.

but other teams with average run games dont seem to have any issues. the broncos seem to be getting it done even though they give up a lot of points and have an average run game? why is that?

also this is because youre too simple minded to see that luck is beating up on bad teams. again, 1 win against playoff teams. 1 out of 15 games have been wins vs playoff teams.

Alright, I'm heading out for a bit after this post. Your lack of football knowledge is seeping through. I'll just leave it at this:

Broncos defense has allowed this many points the last 3 games: 10, 17, 16. How could the Broncos ever overcome that many points???  Laughing Also, look at the Broncos rushing totals lately....

I'm out, I'll be back later to laugh at your response.

Oh and this is where you're wrong: The COLTS are beating up on bad teams.

Alright I'm out for real this time. I'll be back, don't worry. Smile
If they don't find a defense and a running game, it won't matter what Luck does, it will never be enough.

It's up to their GM and HC if the clots are ever going to be an AFC powerhouse and truly challenge for a SB.

Luck has carried the clots as far as he can, he needs help to go any further.

denvers defense on the season has given up 21.6 points per game. indys has given up 22.6 per game. i guess that 1 point per game really puts luck into a much much more difficult world than peyton manning. he doesnt seem to have a problem winning games....but youre right. the colts give up 1 WHOLE POINT MORE PER GAME. woe is luck.

p.s. denver = 111.3 ypg rushing, 4 ypa

       indy     = 110.5 ypg rushing, 4.1 ypa

but OMG THE COLTS HAVE NO RUN GAME AND CANT WIN UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS!!!! THEIR DEFENSE AND RUN GAME IS JUST SO INFERIOR TO THE BRONCOS!!!

so inferior, that theyre both almost identical!

again, peyton gets it done under the same conditions that luck cant.

Reminds me of the nickname Blame Gabbert...

Like the Jaguars take weekly.

LOL!  and Ouch!

Well done, sir

Come on man, you're really showing your lack of perspective and knowledge right now... Luck has had a horrible December.  There's no way to deny that.  Just deal with it.

Hopefully he shows up for the playoffs.  But it's not like there is much of a precident for it...

He's not been a world beater yet in the playoffs.  He's still an unknown commodity...

does he have potential?  Yes.  Has he lived up to his hype.  Not yet.  He's just too inconsistent.  Sorry, but that's just how it is.
Quote:If they played in any other division in football they'd be under .500

Not the NFC South, obviously. They would have a winning record in that division too.

Would they? I'd say the teams in that division are tougher than the jags and titans
Quote:Would they? I'd say the teams in that division are tougher than the Jags and Titans

So why is it guaranteed that the winner of that division will finish with a losing record? At least the AFC South has two winning teams.
Because NFC south is playing theNFC and AFC north which is the best overall division in football. Also the NFC south teams are all beating each other rather than beating up on 2 terrible teams.

But the AFC South also plays against the AFC North and we have a stronger schedule than the Buccaneers.

Not true about "all beating each other." The Buccaneers are winless and Falcons are undefeated in divisional games.

Good points. But I'd still say the Saints Falcons and Panthers are better than the Texans or at least on par. Its hard to say when schedules arent the same.

Both divisions obviously aren't good though
