you would know...
Quote:Thanks for that hot take, Frail Bones. It's amazing that you can speak for so many people at once. Especially considering you having no frame of reference since your mother never let you play sports. Cause of the boneitis. Your only regret.

Lol cool man.
Quote:yeah Harbaugh is so great they already said they are getting rid of him.
And 2 teams are trying to work some kind of trade to get him.

Are you trying to deny he's not a good coach? Would you rather have a coach who players love or a coach who wins games?
Quote:Is this thread a joke? Did I just get trolled? by golly one win fixes everything.

Of course one win doesn't "fix everything."   Of course it doesn't.

Gus' seat was getting pretty warm.  This one win cooled it off a little bit.   Another win will cool it off a little more.   That's the truth of it.   But you can't say nothing has changed.  It has changed some.

Let's enjoy a victory.   We hardly ever win, so let's enjoy this one.

Are those things mutually exclusive?    We have a coach the players love, and who just won a game.    Why can't we let up on the "fire Bradley" for a week?

this game just like all the other loses doesn't change anything. it's all about next year, if we're not sniffing at least a .500 record Gus isn't the guy. I'm hopeful he is, Lord knows I'm tired of rebuilds but the players loving a coach has nothing to do with it.

Just  win baby.  And this was a great win!  The team isn't quitting on Gus, that's great to see.  The D is looking like it's a few peices away from being a top five overall unit.  If Gus is the mastermind of that, his seat has cooled off quite a bit.

The offense still is a concern...  13 points on offense is not getting it done.  I've been saying that I think if the team continues to fight, Gus should be given the chance to find upgrades to his coaching staff.  I really think this offense needs a new philosophy and a new play caller.  Nothing from today changes my mind of that.

Great win by the team!  Everyone should be happy with it.  But there's still alot of work to do and alot of changes that need to be made.

I agree and I hope the offense gets upgraded this offseason from the top down.  I'm happy with the win, but anyone can see that the offense is a liability.
hooray for fortunate bounces on defense but you still have to move the ball. The offense is very poor and not showing much improvement. A few meaningless wins this year will move us down the draft board which really isn't that bad of a deal overall.

I am not thinking 2015 is going to be some rewarding payoff. This team needs way more talent to compete let alone win consistently.

Never said I wanted to fire him... If he keeps this up Ima be pumped

Tied for the lowest wins in Jags history at this time.

Gus really needs to lead this team to another couple of wins before the season ends.
We should have lost that game.... No one is saying we're going 4-0 to finish.... But this was huge...

Biggest comeback and its under gus and Caldwell......
This game was won by trickery on offense and a defense that played like Jefferson from Fast Times at Ridgemont High when they trashed his car. Against a reeling opponent that happens to be God awful.

Hold the celebration.

Game planning and execution....

You all call for BORTLES to throw deep so they find a way to get enough protection by calling a weird fake screen and go deep and you don't want to applaud?
I applaud the win. But it doesn't change how bad we are and the needs we have.

There will be no holding of any celebrations of this win.

We have no idea how long it will be before the next win comes.

We know what we are, we don't need to be reminded after a rare win.

I see StroudCrowd's point.

But you're point is also pretty valid.  The execution on offense was just enough to pull out the win.  So why complain about it after we just watched a great game.

I'm gonna side with you tonight.  That was a heck of a game and the offense did execute some good plays.  That pass to Lee was a thing of beauty to be enjoyed forever (or at least this week).  Dude, I also thought that Shoelace had some key runs that kept us in the game.  He's one of my favorites!

Also the read option and wildcat did enough for us to get a drive together in order to kick the winning fieldgoal.  Where a normal jags team usually just folds after getting it close, today we finished STRONG!

We sacked and recovered a fumble when the Giants got the ball back to finish the game.  I mean, dang, that some awesome sauce!

So let's enjoy it today and tonight.  Heck, folks should be proud of that game for even longer than that.
Once again, the defense has been playing winning football the majority of the year. Gus is doing his two major jobs: defense and leadership. Im confident he can be a good head coach. Only looking at the W-L record for THIS team doesnt paint the whole picture. I cant remember a complete rebuild like this team is going through other than the Raiders.

Is that Diamond Dallas Page behind that camera in the locker room?
