Let's use your logic and go with the 2nd season then...2-10!

Thumbs up buddy. You are really cracking us all up. And we get to see how smarter you are than everyone to boot. I can't wait til we win next week and you can start whining about our draft position. That will be fun.
I loved the locker room postgame... These guys deserved a win. I hope all of us understand that they are putting in a lot of work and are playing hard each and every week.
Quote:The team might have the cap space, but there's still a lot of dominos that need to fall for it to work in our favor. As we've seen in most cases, prime players (such as JPP, Julius, Dez Bryant) rarely hit free-agency.
I'm not expecting the more productive, big name free agents to hit the street unless they're on a team that has an absolute disaster of a cap situation.  That doesn't mean you can't identify and sign quality players who can help this team turn the corner quickly in 2015.  There will be quality players out there in free agency this team can pursue.

Do you have any of the top of your head that you can remember?

I'm too lazy right now to google....

Awesome! Thanks.

So off that list... Worilds, Avril, McCourty, Gresham, Iupati, Weatherspoon,Bulaga and Thurmond look like possible players to target. Young players who could immediately help this squad.
would love to see this team take a shot on Antrell Rolle.

Worilds, Avril, and Iupati would be great.

I think Bulaga is a possibility, but is pretty injury prone at this point in his career.

Whoa... That Gabbert guy will be a FA too!

Bring him in!

He could be a solid back up that knows our system

We've gotten more quality starts from the draft pick we got for Gabbert than we ever did from Gabbert himself.

This has definitely been getting around. Love this stuff!

I think I would rather have Jeff George.

I'm kinda partial to the Jaxson/Eli cartoon that is floating around Twitter.
I'm definitely one of the bigger Bradley bashers on this forum, but this was pretty refreshing to see. The team still has his back, despite the trials and underwhelming season. I dont think a single game changes anything but I do see that the D is giving Gus 100%. And I can live with that for now.

Please please DC and Khan- go heavy on offense this season and get some quality veteran linemen. Then give Gus some young defensive chips in the draft.

I agree, but most of those guys won't be gamechangers. We're back to talking about the Landrys, the Sessions, and Beadles that this team has signed in recent years. We could very well spend as much cap space as we possibly can in the off-season, but it wouldn't matter if the core players (Luke, Blake, Cyp, etc...) doesn't take the next step.

Link?  Haven't found it yet….  looking...
Quote:The win is great and I'm happy we won. We should have won. I'm not thrilled with what it took to win and the offense still frustrates me. It still stinks and needs to be replaced.

This win didn't change my opinion on the coaching staff one bit. Particularly on offense.

You know how many games you're going to win when your offense scores one TD? Very few. Unless major and miraculous improvement is made to this offense this team will continue to stink next season too. I don't see how we can expect a sudden major improvement next season with these coaches when you look at what they've given us so far.

Congrats to the defense and our young players for pulling out a win yesterday.

As far as the players liking Gus...that's great but it means little if he isn't a good coach.

Very nice post. Pretty much sums up my feelings about this coaching staff and team. Love the effort and the Win. But this team is missing much more than a rounded out roster. Caldwell has a lot of work to do.
