Quote:Off topic but FYI, the NFL isn't too fond of casinos and sports betting if you've followed what's been going on in New Jersey the past few weeks.
But yet they play in London where you can legally bet on any sport like it's going out of style. The NFL is a bunch of hypocrite suits.

The NFL cant flex their muscles in the UK like they can in the US. If they could I can promise you that wouldn't be the case.
Quote:I'm holding hope that Telvin Smith grows out of the rookie pains he showed last week and emerges as our best LB for next year just like Denard has been doing for the RB position. Smith has it all,  it's just a matter of development. You definitely don't want to spend a top 5 pick on a LB, that is for sure.

This upcoming draft is painfully bad, so hopefully the GM can find some really good picks at the right time.
You wouldn't have taken Khalil Mack in the top 5 of this year's draft? Maybe that running back would not have sprung for 60 last Sunday if we had him now. Mack's a beast.

Nobody told the NFL to go to London, they choose to. They even want a damn team over there for good. Hell fantasy football is gambling. Majority of folks wouldnt watch this sissified version of football if it wasn't for gambling and they know that.

Nah, Khalil Mack is trash.

I bet anything Mack is nothing in the next three-four years.
Quote:Again laying low or out in the public in a questionable establishment? The best option would be to chill the [BAD WORD REMOVED] out in the privacy of your own residence. Its not that hard. At least until you've been reinstated. Something no one has harped on yet is that he hasn't even finished his rehab yet and look where he's at! Questionable judgement has lead to the reason as to why he's currently suspended. He still hasn't learned to make better decisions.
Questionable to who? You? What does that matter? The law and NFL policy says he is free to go there.

You want to give someone an excuse to drink and do drugs?  Tell them their only form of entertainment is to sit alone at home. He would be doing all sorts of bad things to pass the time.

Force him to be lonely and depressed. Lonely and depressed people never turn to drugs or alcohol.  Rolleyes

Freaking brilliant idea there.

The NFL doesn't like sports betting but it has nothing against casinos. It advertises in casinos.
Have I missed a JB update, or is this all speculation?

I'll be honest, I thought he was done

Oh no he was at a casino, THE HORROR! Next thing you know he is gonna be spotted at a grocery store or gas station where they could have beer and cigarettes. OMG he is so dumb going to places with all these distractions and triggers. What if he attends a football game where they sell alcohol...my goodness he better stay away from the NFL if he ever wants to get back into the NFL.

Bingo... He's just continuing to make poor decisions. He's not a normal person. He can't just say "hey.. I'm going to go into a casino today because ya know what... who cares?!"

Carr and Watkins > Bortles? Not saying I agree with that but a lot of people are claiming they would rather have Carr and Watkins over BB.

Great minds think alike. We have to stick together.

I also heard rumor that Blackmon could potentially be watching tv were there could be drugs, alcohol, and violence. What a bum, he obviously doesn't care about the NFL.

Yea... I mean, if there is one place I want my star WR to be during rehab, it's a casino. No way would I want him at home in his house.

Agree. No telling the untold kinds of shenanigans one could get into at a casino. This bum should not be allowed any personal life and should be locked in his house. Its obvious that him going to a casino and not getting in any kind of trouble is a sign he doesn't care about the NFL.

I heard he was going to a church where they had communion and passed around wine.

Poor decisions.

If he were serious about his career, he would be at home in bed with the sheets pulled over his head so nothing can tempt him. But this idiot does crazy things like leave his house and get his picture taken while drinking grapefruit juice.

I mean grapefruit juice! He just doesn't care. Any moron knows that's a gateway beverage. What a bum!

Those people who's claiming that statement are stupid as well when allan robinson and bortles are just as good or a better tandem than them right now. I just wish some people stop paying attention to espn and do some damn research before they have an over reaction like this my friend. Oh by the way derek carr is 0-7 as a starter and is about to be 0-8 after denver thrashes them.

Here's the answer to your question? Thank me later. lol.

I really hope he has sorted himself out and comes back. I still think its unlikely, but if he doesnt its such a waste of talent. I'm really excited about next year regardless of JB coming back, but obviously we'd be better with him. Doesnt he need to apply for reinstatement fairly soon though?

If he gets involved in any sort of "shenanigans" that would warrant further discipline from the league, I'm sure that will be addressed.  If he doesn't, and I'm assuming he's being tested on a fairly regular basis, who cares where he spends his time?  As long as he's abiding by the terms of his suspension, and he's not failing any tests or getting into trouble, it's completely irrelevant.  There are temptations everywhere you go if you're an addict.  You can't live in a bubble and avoid living life.
