Quote:Yea... I mean, if there is one place I want my star WR to be during rehab, it's a casino. No way would I want him at home in his house.
There are plenty of temptations between home and rehab, and between his house and AA meetings.  Should the rehab and AA come to him?  Would that make it better in your holier than thou world?

C'mon Tim, he may or may not be better, but let's be real here. Speaking of rehab and AA, what do you think his instructors from those groups would say to him. "Sure, spend your time in a casino. Live your life, you're a big boy. There are triggers at the grocery store, being at a casino should be no different."

hahahahah Holier than thou? Pot calling the kettle black?

Never said for him to live in a bubble. All im saying is that a casino might not be the best place for him

There is nothing at a casino that would be any more of a "trigger" then going to a grocery store. Stop with the nonsense. Its a casino, not a stripclub.

To be fair he could be eating at an Applebee's with is family during happy hour and see just as many people drinking alcohol, which is I'm assuming is the reason people are saying a casino isn't good for him.  We have no clue what he was doing there or who he was hanging out with.

He's probably been told this his entire adult life. Which is why he struggles with decision making.

They should give away free brains, you're in need of one.

naa, its a CASINO. That means he is not about the NFL anymore. Old ladies go to casinos to get turnt up on the free one drink and hour.

Any casino I have ever been to doesn't have a time limit on the free drinks.

I disagree.  Casinos are full of triggers that are designed to subconsciously overcome a person's resistance and logic.   They are scientifically designed to do that.

"Essentially, casino design all comes down to fostering an environment conducive to happily losing money "“ and that environment is mind-numbingly frenetic, right down to the ugliness of the carpets. It's like a magic trick: Using a surfeit of sensations "“ the sounds, lights, mirrors, colors "“ casinos induce a sense of disorientation and over-stimulation."

Stop it, the guy doesn't have a gambling problem.

Its a casino, not a strip club, not an backwoods moonshine operation, not an secret dog fighting arena. Its a simple casino where he did nothing wrong. Just stop with the nonsense.

How about this one?

"Going to a casino will place a person in a building that is designed to encourage excessive gambling, drinking and even consumption of illicit drugs."

At a minimum, just being in a casino make me question his IQ.  Because only the severely mathematically challenged gamble in a casino.

How about this one?

"Justin Blackmon went to a casino and wasn't arrested for a triple homicide rape murder DUI."(you know, the kind of stuff that goes on in a casino on a regular basis)

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!?!?!

Again, just stop with the nonsense. The guy went to a casino and sat next to 90 year old women playing slot machines. Stop trying to make a story where none happend.

Enjoy the ignorance, bro.

You seem to be hogging it all up.
I have no idea if Justin will find his way out of this and back onto the field.  I am pretty sure on the other hand that Justin didn't go to a Casino for the free drinks.

From all reports Justin has always been a very kind person, everyone should be focusing on his recovery as a person not a football player.  If he does play football again that would be fantastic, and I truly hope he is as good as everyone seems to think he is but the important thing here is to save his life on a more basic level.

All of these temptations. Look at all these drunk illegal drug addicts. Bunch of low life THUGS I tell you. Blackmon obviously doesn't care about the NFL!

hahah you're getting crushed and its awesome. People keep giving you examples and you keep ignoring them. A casino is not the same as a grocery store like you have been proclaiming. It is designed for people to over indulge.

My brain is just fine but thanks for enlightening me!
