Quote:hahah you're getting crushed and its awesome. People keep giving you examples and you keep ignoring them. A casino is not the same as a grocery store like you have been proclaiming. It is designed for people to over indulge.

My brain is just fine but thanks for enlightening me!
Justin Blackmon went to a casino and nothing bad happened.

Crushed with a solid fact, keep backpedaling though Smile

Backpedaling... Nope.

Just stating a fact that for an addict... A casino is probably not the right place for him. Watch the game somewhere else.

For an addict, a casino is no more dangerous than going to the grocery store or to a local restaurant.  Keep flailing away with your moral indignity.

Just stating the fact that Blackmon went to a casino and absolutely nothing bad came of it, and that anyone that thinks being at a casino is him "not caring about the NFL" is doing an Inspector Gadget "go-go gadget arm" reach.

"Going to a casino will place a person in a building that is designed to encourage excessive gambling, drinking and even consumption of illicit drugs."

At a minimum, just being in a casino make me question his IQ.  Because only the severely mathematically challenged gamble in a casino.
Did he drink?  I must have missed that if he did.

No he didnt it was 9:30 am in a OK Casino. Alcohol was not serving at that time. Probably not untill noon. :teehee:

Interesting side note: since it was a Casino in OK, that means he is probably done with the rehab place in CA.

And the big deal here is what exactly?

Man... You have a real problem.... "flailing away with your moral indignity"? If its ok with you that Blackmon went to the casino.... it should probably be ok with everyone. Got it.

You must be a miserable old man.
Quote:There is nothing at a casino that would be any more of a "trigger" then going to a grocery store. Stop with the nonsense. Its a casino, not a stripclub.

I'm not agreeing in either direction, but you're either a complete moron or have never been to a real casino before.

Judging by how you've chosen to present yourself in this thread, it's probably both.

It comes down to how you feel about a casino.

For me, a casino is 100% a non issue.(unless he had a gambling problem). And it is CERTAINLY not even remotely close to him "not caring about the NFL."

If you think me posting solid facts is being a moron, then that tells us all we need to know about yourself.

Notice how you added nothing to the discussion, let the grownups have a discussion and you go back to playing super mario.

So a casino has the same amount of triggers as a grocery store? Is that your fact?

Or is your fact that he went to a casino and nothing bad happened? Just because he did something and nothing bad happened doesn't make it the right decision. He has had multiple DUI's and luckily, no one was injured. Thats a bad decision where nothing bad really happened.

Every casino I have been to has basically had a girl walking around handing out free drinks. I have never been in a grocery store where this happens. Grocery stores try to get you to buy soda. Casinos try to get you to gamble and drink.

It could be a lot of reasons he was there. His GF might be a waitress there and he was picking her up. He might have been driving home from the airport and needed to use the bathroom and it was the closest place to stop and go. OK is kind of a desert. again there where no drinks being handed out at that time of the morning.

Nothing bad came of him going to a casino(and 99.99999999% nothing will ever). Blackmon doesn't need to go to a casino to get free drinks, hes a millionaire. He is a recognizable person and is not gonna be drinking in public (debatable here since he has done 2 stupid things in a row). It was 9am and no drinks were being served. Its a non story that you are trying to make into him "not caring about the NFL."

If hes at a bar knocking back flaming drpeppers, you might have a point. But, he took a picture with a fan and had some fruit juice. Thats it.

Thats probably the most obvious thing here. He continues to show patterns of poor decisions. If this was Bortles... No issue whatsoever. But its Blackmon. Bad things happen to him when he goes out. He makes poor decisions. Its easy to make poor decisions in a casino.

I'm not saying for him to stay inside and do nothing. But when I hear the things Josh Gordon is doing and the good decisions he's making and then the only story we hear about Blackmon is he's in a casino, I just don't like hearing that.

The only bad decision you can make in a grocery store is choosing diet coke over cherry coke.
Who cares about Justin Blackmon, I think A. Robinson is better than him anyways.

That may not be what you're saying, and I'm pretty sure that's not what you mean, but can you not see that that's exactly how some of the "complaints" about this whole thing sound. "Oh lawd hammercy! Why is he in a casino drinking juice at 9:30am...talking to/taking pictures with a fan...when alcohol is not even being served. How dare he?!?" Heaven forbid that casino had a banging breakfast buffet and he wanted some eggs and bacon, right?

I personally think he knew exactly what he was doing. He knows the rules in Oklahoma and he knew perfectly well that alcohol was not being served that time of day in the casinos. By virtue of these two things, I can't help but give him the benefit of the doubt and say "non-story" here. Now, if this had happened at 3pm, grapefruit juice or not, I'd be more inclined to say that those of you who think ill of his actions had a "moral" leg to stand on.

The man was doing something perfectly legal, not against any rules or policies, and that affects absolutely nobody. From a PR perspective, it wasn't a great idea, however, because you have these uppity, judgemental, dolts nowadays who feel the world revolves around them and their idea of how others' actions should conform to their ideal - this thread as proof. Poor decision Justin. You've caught the public eye so you should know living a life of recluse is what the public demands.
Im willing to bet at least one person on here is a child molester/internet child porn type passing judgement on another man. Why do people care what he does with his life any way? If he comes back great for the team and us but even if he gets suspended again, so what. The team is gonna move forward regardless.
