Quote:Ok man, twist it how you want to. Funny how everytime you talk about our receivers development you give huge Kuddos to Sullivan. What about Bradley then? and Fisch?
I've warmed up to Fisch regarding the QB/ WR development, anyway. His offense is very QB/ WR friendly.
And Bradley absolutely gets credit as he's the head dude in charge. He's the one who chooses what philosophy/ direction this offense & more particularly the passing offense goes through his hirings of QB coach/ OC/ WR coaches.
Bradley clearly wants an offense that is aggressive and attacks in chunks.
I was skeptical about Bradley initially but he's passing the tests as time goes on. He's proving to have made more good assistant hires than I initially gave him credit for.
Quote:I'm dense?? You seriously think Ryan has nothing to do with the state of his offense over the years he's been there.

The funny part is that both David Nelson and Jeremy Kerley, one of which happens to be 5-9, both outperformed Hill in that very same Ryan offense with fewer starts.
Maybe it has more to do with the fact that Hill just plain sucks.
Quote:Compared to Hill those are all pro stats.
You can't look at facts if you're going to push an agenda. Especially THIS agenda.
Quote:Sanders, yes. Or shorts. You hate them both but they are head and shoulders above your boy Hill.
Yeah, I'm not sure why there is a need to differentiate since he can't stand either player. Same agenda, different names.
Quote:I'd make that bet if Hill gets outta NY and goes here.
Why put that qualifier in there? If he's so full of potential, it shouldn't matter where he's playing. You're so convinced of his ability to prove you right, man up.

Nope. The Jets are an offensive train wreck.
I would never bet on any offensive players development there, at least while Rex is in charge.
Rex is great as a defensive mind, but he oversees bad offenses consistently.

Funny you say this now that we have improved talent at those positions. I argued this last year until i was blue in the face that we needed a talent infusion, yet you laid it all on Fisch. Dense.

The Jags get production at the WR position from guys like Mike Brown and Kerry Taylor...
Its not just about improved talent.
Its good offensive coaching and a good offensive system. Better than my early skepticism. Dense.

What if sullivan was there?

Brown and Taylor? Cmon man, you can't be serious with that.

Neither of which have changed since last year.
You are making this too easy.

When they are in there, they produce. Whats not to be serious about?
Quote:Neither of which have changed since last year.
As said, early skepticism has proven faulty. Our offense is WR/ QB friendly and we have good assistant coaches at those positions.
Stop living in the past, man.

Wasn't he panning Jedd Fisch a year ago? Along with having Gus as his 6th best option as head coach, he also didn't like the Fisch hire. Suddenly he likes it, and Fisch can resurrect a career that's never started. Brilliant!
Quote:You are making this too easy.
No, I'm not, you just see what you want, past liver.
You act just because someone was skeptical about early hirings that means they have to stick with that opinion for life. The Jags offensive passing game assistants have done a good job. And I'll give credit where due now that we are seeing the results.

If someone else had such a change of viewpoint, I believe the term you would use is flip flopper. You're a flip flopper.

It's funny how many things that involve your opinion turn out to be "faulty".

LOL another past liver.
YOU MUST KEEP THE SAME OPINION YOU INITIALLY MADE FOR LIFE!!!!

Isn't that pretty much what you do with others....all the time?
Hypocrite much, diva?
