Quote:Did someone say Case Keenum is better than Henne too? What the fudge?

Henne is a quality back-up. As a starter? No. As a back-up? I'd consider us pretty fortunate to have him considering the teams last year who had their back-ups step in and get worked.

This.

Quote:We will agree to disagree on Henne's quality as depth. The second part of your response as to Caldwell's opinion on Henne seems to be correct and that gives me pause as to his train of thought as it pertains to Henne. I hope it is more based in the relative safety net of continuity than that he actually thinks he is good enough to win games. I can somewhat understand that thinking. Otherwise I will have to question Caldwell's ability to evaluate QB play.
Henne is a good stop-gap. End of story.
Quote:Pretty mediocre is better than horrid the last time I checked.
You provide no argument with your posts. Stop replying to me.
Quote:SMH....Im bout to cry......
Caldwell has even stated it. Why are you about to cry?

Typical Tommy response once argument is lost.

You just have absolutely no clue what you are talking about.

I didn't lose the argument simply because you have no argument dippy. You said nothing of any substance.

Most back-ups don't get starter reps. Henne basically was the starter or got a lot of starting snaps all last season.

Comparing the level of play from a guy that got full preparation to guys that actually had to step in when someone went down only makes Henne look even worse.

Vick is better than Henne, that's all there is to it. Vick fumbles some, so does Henne. Henne also throws game losing INTs as a general rule.

Cause the truth hurts lol, And its sad that Henne is that high on our list.

Really?  Coming from the guy who says Henne is better than Vick?
Quote:Really?  Coming from the guy who says Henne is better than Vick?
Yes. He is. Vick has started a full season once in his career. Almost every single game in 2012 he was dinged up, and played average with an amazing offense. On the jaguars he'd be mediocre. Henne on the Eagles could win 8 games. Bet.
The market price for experienced veteran QBs, who can step in and give quality starts, is higher than most on this board realize.

Henne, with his starting-triggered incentives, realized about $3.6m per year over the past two seasons with the Jags. Matt Cassel received about $3.7 in 2013 (that contained a $2m signing bonus for the 2 year deal), and Matt Moore has a $4m per year deal (that contained a $3m signing bonus for the 2 year deal).

Unfortunately, if the Jags want to sign Henne, his market price is likely in the $3.5-4.0m range per year (and will likely have a signing bonus of around $2-3m if it is a 2 year deal). You won't get him to sign a near minimum vet deal of around $800-900k per year, and will be offered significantly more elsewhere. This market is actually pretty well established.

People are clueless.

Haha.  Ok there guy.  If Henne started for the Eagles they would be getting blown out every game.  Bet.

Lol. No argument, once again. Just leave.

Where is your argument?  You literally just pulled something out of the air and guaranteed it would happen.  There is no argument in this statement.  "Henne on the Eagles would win 8 games."  Sorry but that isn't an argument.

Don't nitpick one of my posts when I've posted 10 times. You have consistently not had an argument at your disposal. In every single thread, actually.
Quote:No, he's not.

Come on Tommy, in your heart of hearts you know dang well Michael Vick is better than Chad Henne, your nose is growing.

Gosh Tommy I wish I could post like you.  Your posts are so insightful.

No, he's really not. He's not played well. Especially considering how fragile he is and the amount of talent on Philadelphia's offense.

Did you not realize that Henne has NEVER started all 16 games in a season?

My point.
