I saw Tony Dungy pointing that out during the NBC Sunday Night Football postgame show shortly after Teddy Bridgewater's Cincinnati game.
He must have a giant cut of Teddy Bridgewater.
Quote:Didn't he decide to leave Louisville before Charlie Strong interviewed with Texas?
When he wasn't being disrespectful to his hometown fans (who have no love-loss for "Two-Faced Teddy") at the small-time bowl game, Bridgewater was speaking of his college days as past-tense.
Is there something about Bobby Petrino that makes him an awful human being?
Yea I'm sure his hometown people hate him. In his last game, the entire stadium was chanting his name for the entire 4th quarter. That was against Miami, where he threw for a college career best in yards and still posted 75% completion.
I really don't understand your obsession with bashing Teddy, and your incredible bro-love for McCarron. I understand liking one QB over another, but this sounds like pure hate. Did Teddy steal your girlfriend or something?

It must go along with your cut of Jake Matthews.
(Who I'm still willing to bet with you that the Jags will not take)
Teddy makes Boyd Fales an Kurt Warner look awfully small.

sshhhhhhhhh *whispers* he's supposed to be small, that's the narrative

This photo is clearly photoshopped. Teddy is actually in a close up from another picture--they edited him in to make him look bigger.

Lets stand him next to some 5th graders too. He'll look like a giant!
Pirkster top QB is no one. HE'S waiting on the next Luck. He should be here in the next 10 years.
Quote:The NFL uses the 1001 ball, college uses the 1005 ball. The 1005 ball is actually bigger. #Strangefacts
It was a joke dude. Settle down.

There isn't a top QB in this draft. You can't manufacture one when there's not one there, kid.
This is 2011 all over again with no Cam Newton.
Last year, while you were salivating over Geno's jock, I told you he wasn't worth that #2 pick and that Glennon may be the hidden gem of that draft. You never seem to learn, and don't seem to have the mental capacity.
I see the same this year. The so-called "big 3" may not be the best QB of this draft. If there's another Glennon, a QB available later that will be a wiser selection, that QB could be McCarron. But since he, unlike others, actually participated in the combine he may have moved himself up to the bottom of the first.
If no QBs in this draft are worth a first round grade as many have suggested, then it makes more sense to draft one there than in the first where all of them have disappointment written all over.
But hey, thanks for your interest in my opinion by bringing it up out of the blue.

Just curious, if you were the GM, what would your perfect draft be this year for the first 3 rounds?

Wow, thats a very telling picture!
Teddy's size might be an overblown issue based on that.
Also, I don't want Mariucci as our QB based on that, either! :teehee:

the new straw man is the fact he wears gloves....c'mon TMD...keep up! Lol
I get where pirk's coming from a little bit.....I just think he is severely underappreciating Teddy's accuracy, football IQ, and command of the QB position. Other than Luck, Teddy's are amongst the best from the QB prospects of the last 5-10 years at least.

And he'll tell you that if he is, the Texans will get him for sure

Pretty sure there's some kind of angle/camera trick involved in that. I know Teddy measured well enough at the combine that his size/height is no longer an issue, but he looks a good 2-3 inches taller than Warner in that pick. I don't think that's the case.

Clowney/Mack
McCarron/Fuller/Beckham/Carey
Mettenberger/Richburg/Garoppolo/Moncrief
Who is/is not on the board and who we've already taken makes a big difference. I'd also settle for Watkins or Matthews if somehow Clowney and Mack are gone.
I think we'll be pleasantly surprised by the caliber talent we find in rounds 4 and 5 as well. This is a deep draft.
